I'm a public school teacher and I know. My kids don't go to public school... because I KNOW.

Then perhaps you should do a proper job of teaching then, yes?

Has anyone ever seen two such happy and secure children? Something good is being done there.

I wouldn't worry about Sasha and Melia at all since they have such loving and level headed parents. Bet there won't be the shenanigans we've seen from the Bush twins. I'm guessing the Obamas run a pretty tight ship. These young women are going to grow up to be very stable, productive people. Even after growing up in a fish bowl like the white house. The Obamas seem to have their priorities straight.

Why are they going to grow up to be productive people? Cause of daddy? Oh I see it's always been about money under the table. MAn oh MAN I shoulda been born Asian.

The difference however is that Obama's kids are KIDS, Bush's kids were headed into college...I don't know many 8 year olds who go out drinking...

There is no way kids that are raised in the white will grow up to be "normal". They will be taught that its ok to lie, cheat and steal from the very peopel who put food on your plate. The white house the most important center of power in the world? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA F**k you, the white house is full of ***.

I never thought I would say this as I have always supported public schools, but when I see what a mediocre job the public schools are doing in my town for my kids it makes me think that private schools may be the way to go.

Maybe the coward who made the racial comments wouldn't mind providing his REAL name and address, I bet he might like a few visitors.

I can't help after reading about the prestigious schools the Obamas are considering (and have selected) how President-elect Obama can not support school vouchers that would allow other parents, who do not have the $$$$ to afford a private school (or like me, sacrifice), to select the school that THEY feel is best for their children. I am a huge supporter of school vouchers and to me, any politician who does not support them and speaks only to the need to fund and support public schools, while sending his/her children to a private school is a HYPOCRIT.

Safety and security for the Obama children--I can understand that--but who pays for it? Oh, believe me, those kids private education is publically supported. I think other parents should have the ability to make that decision without having to dip into their wallets/savings or sacrifice to do this.

*** Oh, believe me, those kids private education is publically supported. ****

No, I'll will not "believe you" given that you clearly haven't got the first clue what you're talking about.

"I am a huge supporter of school vouchers "

Then win an election. I am sure the republicans will be glad to gut your school system, and funnel all of the money into the pockets of their friends, while your children attend a school run out of a storefront. HINT: You won't be sending your children to Andover on a voucher.

My dad taught and counseled in public schools for 30+ years, and it was in this year, his last, that he gave up on public schooling. If you have the means, do not hesitate to send your kids to private school.

At least they are not white trash like the Bush girls

      Poor little troll. LOL.

I think the Obama girls will do just fine in their new environment, because they have been taught the values of self priorities by their parents Michelle and Barrack. They are sure to encounter many difficulties in their coming years, but they have the stability and love of both their parents to sustain them.. Michele is a very caring and loving mother and will definitely see to their comfort and lessons as a mother should.

Doc Howl, your post is offensive and ugly

Michelle Obama seems to have done the job right so far and I have confidence in her.

That wasn't me. Look at the last letter of the poster's name, and compare it to mine.
