This is awful. My cousins, from Huntington, WV, volunteered to go down there to help through missions. The fact that there was no prevention is awful. I hope all these kids know that we're rooting for them and there well-being. Yeah, at the time, the U.S. might have been the most powerful nation in the world, but it seemed to forget it must always take care of its own children first. Whatever was happening in Iraq was not more imporant than this, and was, in fact, disgraceful.
