    Then too,Lithwick is a determined leftwinger. The only ones to place ''tremendous pressure''on Holder are other leftwingers who are already whining that they are being refused a seat at the table of ''change'' by Obama,who is fast packing his cabinet with DLCers rather than DAILY KOS propeller-heads. The fear of Lthwick is that it is all getting away from her. That her desire to deliver payback to the Evil Ones will be thwarted by something bigger than all of us,the crushing financial crisis that will put Lithwicks priorities,as far as Americans go,somewhere between ambrosia salad and oil changes. Obama pulls a CHURCH Committee and he will wreck what is left of the CIA and he knows this. Go gunning for Lithwicks Evil Ones and he can forget about his ''post-partisan''world. Raise the bar too high and anyone caught even throwing chewed gum at a detainee will be howled out of office by the minority GOP. Lithwick and her CODE PINK pals will be sidelined,to make room for the ''change'' that is coming,that not all adherents of the Expected One really wanted.

    Come on Lithwick How much of the milk of human kindness was displayed in the ashes of Waco? [Lithwick has oddly never demanded that even a page of perhaps one of the greatest Justice Dept. coverups in American history ever be released to public review]. Holder gave the nod to slapping RICO charges on anti-abortion protesters,a ''civil liberties''violation so odious,that it was later thrown out by a unanimous USSC. His anti-2nd Amendment hostility will cause more problems in this area.
    ''Extraordinary rendition''. A phrase coined by Clinton NSA Richard Clarke,and immediately utilized all through Clintons second term,with no objections by the Justice Dept.[waterboarding was already being widely used by the CIA in order to extract information from suspected jihadists after the first WTC attack in 1993].
    Holder is the bridge between the two eras,when a complacent press[and a equally complacent Lithwick],were allowing one to get away with it,one they did not,and one they will either have to watchdog especially in the light of Gonzales performance,or retreat into silence. We will see. At this point,at least ,Lithwick is moving beyond her stupid,ignorant idea to hold ''Nuremberg-style trials''in order to go after the post-presidental Bush,which would become a partisan farce hardening the divisions in this nation. A nation already on shaky ground.
