What Michelle Means to Us

Go get 'em, Michelle!!!

It's about time we had a first lady with some spunk. It's easy to see the chemistry between Barack and Michelle. One of the reasons I voted for him is because I admired his taste in choosing a strong woman for his wife. I just hope that they still let her personality come through after she becomes first lady. It seems that her pedecessors became so wishy washing. I doubt that she will choose the safe causes for her platform. At least I hope not. Bet she could be a spitfire and that is appealing. Nobody but nobody is going to walk all over this woman.

Michelle Obama came to RI during the campaign and I had the opportunity to listen to her stump for her husband. She blew me and everybody away with her grace, intelligence and ability to connect with the audience. I remarked to my wife, "this woman should run for President". She was so articulate and classy and she excited the overflow crowd about Barack. After her speech, she waded through the crowd and I shook the hand of our future first lady! She is also a beautiful and elegant woman in person! She will not only be a role model for African American women, but for all women!
