What Michelle Means to Us

On topic, the reality is that Michelle Obama is NOT attractive. She's in Vogue because she is now, indirectly, politically powerful, and also because of "competitive altruism" - its editors can now brag about how sensitive and inclusive they are.

I wish inner city blacks would stopping speaking for those of us that did not. grow up there.
I group up a small town that was mostly white. I have never heard that blacks with lighter skin were treated better. I also have no negative feelings towards whites. While I have experinced rascism , I don't think that the majority of whites feel that way because most of my experinces have been positive. I think people are people and if you give them a chance they will give you one also.

My sister in law said Michelle's face looks like a fish. It's true. Her mouth makes her look like a grouper.

Oh but we must never question their patriotism!

no 40YR, I could be saying that could I? I'm saying i know guys that are irritated by what they view as reverse discrimination or affirmative Action on steroids, where Municipal and State jobs have gone to African Americans and Whites has been shut out. This could cause a person feeling like that to be less likely to vote for Barack Obama. I wouldn't consider them racist.To me a Racist is a person that thinks an African American is inferior to the White Race. I also don't think those who want to stop legal immigration is necessarily aimed at a race. They may be concerned that there own way of life is in jeopary. I wish we could define Racist as a person who is a believes their Race is Supreme to all others. It would severely change things here where everyone plays the race card.

No heroes died for my freedom in Iraq. You are really not very in touch are you? Iraq did not threaten our freedom, was never even close to be in that position. SO NO, the "heroes" died needlessly, and that is why I hate the fact that you support our incursion into Iraq.

Get in touch with reality. Bush sent them in to die for political reasons. They died, their parents and siblings suffer, all in the name of politics and lies. Troups do what they are told, and the president is supposed to be Commander, although this one basically gave that job to Patraeus.

This is so true, but not discussed in mainstream media. The first time I saw Barack Obama in 2004 at the Democratic Convention, I thought yeah he's cool. Then I saw his wife, not only was she Black...she was brown skin. A successful Black man not afraid to have a Black woman on his arm. Its a great symbol to little brown girls like myself.

I am a white female and I think this article is so demeaning to Michelle Obama. Are you sure you and your lunch friends didn't have too much to drink and think that Cindy McCain is going to be First Lady so you are bashing Mrs. Obama. You need a reality slap in the face.....Michelle Obama is "cool" in a way I'm sure none of you and your friends will ever be. Oh yea, next time check your facts. Michelle does NOT work out every single day...usually 3 times per week.
