One more thing: few years ago, Economist published the analysis and result of survey of the immigrants to England. They found the muslims from Pakistan and Bangladesh were far behind because they stuck to their traditions rather than exploit the opportunities in the new world as compared to the immigrant families who took full advantage of the new opportunites. I have read several of Fareed's articles. I have sensed his objectivity is secondary to his sentiments for the muslim community and islamic causes.

What he did not tell the interviewer is that the richest man in India is a muslim (Hashim Premjee), the top tier actors in the Bollywood film industry are all muslims (Salman Khan, Shaahrukh Khan), and that the Indians elected muslims twice for the highest office in the country, i.e. for the job of the President. India has a rich histroy of religious tolerance and diversity. Fortunately, people like Zakaria, who make a living by making sensational lies to the western media are minority and do not have any impact on the fabric of the Indian society.

Pakistan is hot bed of terrorism. Its failure to establish itself is evident. Its existence is the biggest threat to

Your take is absolutely ridiculous. I am a monority faith person from Republic of India. Muslims don't get "persecuted" in India. Yes there were religious clashes to which Muslim community has contributed as well as some Hindu fanatics. Otherwise, Muslim women have reservation in education and govt jobs. India allows free speech and free practice of religion. They even accept sharia law for Islam family court procedure. AS a matter of fact some political parties are so secular that they tried to protect minorities as best as they can. I am disgusted with your comment.
You should see this picture when you are tryiing to protect the "faith of Peace". There is a state in India called Kerala, one of the most literate and progressive state with no religious disharmony whatsoever. Do you know that recently atleast 25 Muslim youths from this place went to Kashmir to be trained as Jihadists?
What does it show? For these people religion comes first than their fellow being. and di dyou hear any Musllahs condemning these inhuman atatckes on regular people? No, what does that tell you?

Islamists are very peaceful people, but you go and stick you finger in the hornets??? nest, you will be hunted to the ends of the earth, their passion for arts, literature, mathematics, sciences and music is very unique, They can make a quantum difference to the world if they were given an opportunity. Look at the Sultans of the Mideast such as Bahrain, Abu Dhabi, Dubai or Saudi Arabia, they should help the moderate Muslims by giving them business loans to entrepreneurs because they can't get from US or UK or anyone from the Hindu community. Yes, Muslims are a minority in India and they are left at the lowest rung to live their lives and oppress them as it is easier to oppress a poor man and his family like the Israelis do to the Palestinians, they never give you any opportunity in India, how many Muslims are in prominent positions in India or in the USA? Yes, Why hasn't any Senator, or a Legislator or Congressman get fired for his job? No, the people don't understand how to go about this business of firing them and yet they do what pleases the rick, boisterous and obstreperous business tycoons who donate them with funds, its also called a bribe just that they don't deposit it into their accounts? Will they ever be fired for under-performances on their job? Who cares! Lastly, India must start giving opportunities to Muslims and recognize that they are an integral part of the society.

And these days we heare people talking about marginalization alienation of these people everywhere. What's this? There is very little room for genuine intellectual disscussion on these issues.
