The P-stani's have created a multi-headed terrorist organization that has "friends" inside the ISI and Pak Army. I wouldn't doubt involvement by "rogue" elements of the ISI at all. The P-stani's are getting blowback from the monster they created, and if India strikes back, they had it coming. 2 faced and incapable of truth, Pakistan is a failed state. If the US wants to stablize A-stan, the roots of this problem are in P-stan. There have been times while engaging T-ban/AQ, Pak FC or Army has joined thier jihadist "bro's" in firing at us. This is a good attempt to throw light on the Mumbai attacks in terms of the problems in the region as a whole. I fully agree that quick finger pointing by the Indian government may score some political points in the short run but has the potential to go the other way in the long term. Terrorism is a worldwide problem and can be tackled by nation states putting their strengths together rather than accusing each other. The cooperation between Australia and Indonesia in the investigation of the Bali bombers is a case in point. In the present times where the world has declared a war on terror, I do not believe that any government can have a deliberate policy for exporting terrorism; it will be nothing less than a suicide. I feel India should review its position of blaming Pakistan for all its woes and focus more on the roots for the problem. Where do these roots exist; are they in the socio economic disparity of the country or do they belong to the conflicts in the region. It could also be both. There are issues with Muslim minorities which need to be addressed. The problem in Kashmir is a long outstanding open sore. Also, India needs to see if its close involvement in Afghanistan has its negative effects. Pakistan is already paying heavily for getting intimate with the militants in its Jihad with the Soviet Union. Now India is treading the same path. Is it not playing with fire?

The need of the hour is Police Reform. How could the terrorists entered the mainland enoute sea breaching all the security system?

Before blaming other countries we should blame our security system. In this age high terrorism how the terrorist entered Mumbai through sea route? What the coast gourd and the Navy had been doing? Out of the 40 militants 29 are from Pakistan and 11 are from Bangladesh. Investigation of the one who was captured revealed it. Nothing can justify such attacks..but the problems of muslims around the world help terrorist hire suicide attackers quite easily. If you kill a family for nothing either in cross fire or suspected militant targets bombing, anyone from such family would volunteer such attacks.
