Comment: December 3rd to December 14th , 1971 is the time that the Pakistani Army Genocide of the Bangladeshi Muslims came to an end. 3 million Muslims were slaughtered by the Pakistani Army in 1971, historically the biggest genocide of Muslims.

I find a distressing lack of objectivity in reporting about the Indian political scene. I used to think most of this results from having reporters unfamiliar with India, but seeing someone with an Indian name make elementary mistakes is quite something.

The specific mistake in this article I am referring to is the assertion that the allegations about BJP/RSS links to terrorists are a first for a mainstream party. Since a couple of months ago we saw a court convict a Congress(I) minister for two bombings in Surat, this assertion is false and the article should be corrected.

I want a BJP landslide in India. Hinduism is a very peaceful and compassionate religion evidenced by the over 200 million vegetarians in India. BJP also will not tolerate Islamic terrorism.

The coming general elections would be similar to recent elections in the U.S. where the people were threw out an indifferent and out of touch president out of office. As I write here, the ruling Congress party is still worried if it should fire the utterly hopeless Home Minister, lest it would be a loss of face and admission of failure. When the BJP left power, India was on a high, economically, politically and riding on a wave of confidence. On eve on next general elections, we dont feel secure in our own cities any longer.

the BJP are power hungry people (e.g advani tried to bring vajpayee down). the hindu right wing are the greatest threat to this county's devlopment they have been the pain in progress since pre independence days , as soon as we got independece they started thier relegious wars on other comunities instead of working for peoples betterment , they gave us BJP whose idea of good country is a overly religious one rather than a welfare one.

It baffles me that autors of Jaysree's ilk trying to even compare Islamic terrorism with hindu fundamentalism !!! Are you guys smoking pot? It is blatantly false that muslims are denied opportunities in India. I rile at these journalists perpetrating this folklore to the whole world which is now bandied as a convenient excuse to justify these atrocities??? Minorities of other countries will envy the amount of constitutional protection given to Indian minorities..Heck.. as an Indian citizen, I wont be allowed to even buy land in Kashmir !!! Majority of the Indian private schools are run by minorities. Muslims themselves need to introspect as to why they are breeding like pigs, consequently living in ghettos and sending their kids to madrassas not being able to escape the poverty cycle. Smarter muslims in India has learned to adopt family planning, give their kids good education and succeed in life, but even they balk at speaking against the mullahs and radicals.. I also feel ashamed of the acts done by hindu fundamentalists against their brethren, but pretending that hindus are to be blamed for these monstrous acts make me throw up..

I have never seen such slanted coverage against hindus until i started reading NYT, Newsweek, Time and watching CNN. Now I understand why fox news is more popular in USA. I would recommend Indian govt to follow footsteps of Chinese and act tough before the menace of Islamic terrorism engulf the whole of India ???.
