    Dear Mr Ross,
The prevailing views with regard to your political standing in the region is that, you are a staunch supporter of the Israelies in the occupied territories, and those who are familiar with your anti-Iran stance, obviously are'nt surprised by this latest gaff. Nevertheless, you've made a few referencees in support of your argument, predicating that Iranians must be confronted with "high cost" to their country if they do not change their haviour. Well, the fact is that your military success in making a short work of subdueing Iraq as an Arab country, tells the same tale as the one, the Zionist regim has been doing with the rest of Arabs in recent years; even though he subject matter here is the soul remaining superpower and its military achievements in Iraq: Today however, Iran's military is in a position to never allow another imposed war either to start or in the event of having to face one; to allow it to drag-on for eight years, thats for sure. "Iran has profound economic vulnerabilities" - it imports 43% of its gas requirements, and "uses its oil revenue to buy-off its population": I never knew, ones government's fairer distribution of wealth or overall expenditure on its people can be interpreted as "buying them off". Based on your analogy, and as I understand it, by reducing or even cutting off the source of that revenue, in this case Iran's oil with the help of Saudies, President Ahmadinedjad's economic coersion, as you imply can be stopped. Sir, if this is what you Americans view as a credible foreign policy tool to damage the Iranian government, then, it is no wonder why the entier US foreign policy has become a laughing stock; not only amongst your own friends, as wll as to the rest of the world. As an experienced diplomat with years of service in the Middle East, one would expect more zest and skills in your analogy and perspectives of the people in that part of the world. People of Iran have more pressing issues concerning the future of their country and its place in today's world to contend with, than wory about these burnt-out and nonsensical "sticks & carrots" trivial to hopefully cow the people of Iran into submission. Finally, you assert that Iran wants the nuclear industry solely for the purpose of building the bomb as an ofensive weapon: in this, you sound like a Zionist settler in the West Bank.

Mr. Ross confuses US interest with Israel interest and these two do not share a same interests most of time, basically what his offering is playbook from Nazi treatment of Warsaw ghetto and/or Israelis treatment of Gaza territory, starve and punish whole population while hoping their leaders will be replaced by their desperate people, it's unconscionable and have not worked in Palestinian territories during last 40 years let along with patriotic Iranians in last 30 years, what USA needs a genuine good old US ingenuity of mutual respect and dialog, with Mr. Ross plan we loss Iranian population good will toward US, Mr Obama will do great service for US if he cut the influence of Israel lobbies from effecting US policies in a negative way, yes we want change and Mr. Ross is a recycle!
