I just read what militants/terrorists are doing in Swat. It is terrible, terrible. Swat has been turned into terroris heaven. I take my words back which were said in anguish. India and Pakistan need to get together and root out terrorists but this religious bigotry has to stop. People are people and there is no religion bigger then humanity. Insaniyat is the biggest religion of all religions. May Paki army and its ISi get some wisdom and find a way to give up the people behind the mumbai terrorists. May everyone live in peace and harmony. War is not the answer for India and Pakistan. They need to cooperate with each other in rooting out the terrorists which are the common enemy of Indian and Pakistani people.
Zardari is correct when he said - "we created a cancer and we recognize that we did, the terrorists are imposing their agneda on us." Let us support peace between 2 countries.

The distrust between India and Pakistan which has plagued the subcontinent in the second half of 20th century and impeded the development and progress of more than a billion people has to come to an end.
India needs to divorce its efforts of trying to gain retreat in the changed perspective after 9/11, in the notion of war against terror to keep physical control of Kashmir and avert the pressure from International community.

It needs to prove its credentials through action in adhering to the democratic principle which it very proudly exaggerates in front of world community. Its credentials as a democratic country are jeopardized when one witnesses how it has, civilian people under siege with 800 hundred thousand army presence within its streets, villages and hamlets in Kashmir.

It needs to prove the democratic high morals which its present Prime minister daringly pronounced while addressing the joint congress of United States which I quote??? Democracy is not defined by what is written in the constitution but how it functions on ground???

It needs to prove that it does not use its acquired military might to unleash terror in the Valley of Kashmir upon civilian people to enforce its will to negate the basic unalienable right of self determination of Kashmiries.

It needs to prove that colonization of Kashmir is a misconstrued concept and decolonization is as relevant today as it was, when it fought for its own freedom against British rule

It needs to accept the fact that people of Kashmir are not up against in the name of religion but for an opportunity for a fair democratic verdict to choose their future course of their nation.

If democracies commit human rights abuse that are committed in Kashmir by India, then democracies are not defined by moral power of people, but the powerful define democracy, thereby undermining its purpose of governance.

This article highlights the point that Pakistan army has a fatally dangerous mental block of negating the size and strength of their presumed enemy India. India got a nuclear deal with the US and its nuclear programme stands legitimate now but there has been no move from the Pakistan establishment to legitimise their nuclear programme. Hey, get the facts right, if not don't write articles in public media. It was Manmohan Singh who demanded ISI chief to take part in the Mumbai investigations. Zardar accepted the reqeust then backed off when ISI chided him. Why would India share evidences with Pakistan? So they can hide stay clear of such evidences in future attacks? If Pakistan is really sincere in cooperating and eradicating terror then they should have extradited the killers to India for questioning. A fitting response will be to declare Pakistan as the state sponsor of terror and let it be decimated by the wolves it created to destroy itself.

Don't forget that we are approaching December 17th the anniversary of the liberation of Bangladesh, which ended the bengali Muslim genocide. The Pakistani Army calls itself a ' Muslim' Army, but it had no compunction in butchering 3 million Bengali Sunni Muslims. The sad part is after claiming the world record for murdering the highest number of Muslims , the Pakistani Army claims Islamic credentials. How can they be Islamic?

The title and premise of the article is very disappointing. WOULD YOU ASK WHEN WILL USA AND AL-QAEDA LEARN TO CO-OPERATE? Wouldn't that be dumb? There are plenty of reasons for the tension between India and Pakistan. Ever since the formation of Pakistan, many influential elements there ensures the tension remains between these two countries.
After Bangladesh, Pakistan is keen to have India divided. They have helped the Punjab militants; militancy ravaged in the state for a long time. Due to tough and effective measures adopted by the authorities we have brought it to down. Now it is dormant.
Kashmir is the next. After Kashmir, they will find some other part of the country.
The mindset of the Pakistanis must change. Pakistan is a sovereign nation. India accepts the territorial integrity of Pakistan. Economic cooperation between these two nations can wipe out poverty, employment and sufferings of millions people in both the countries. As an Indian, I would like to have my country to prosper with peace. It is the same with Pakistan. A Pakistan which is living in peace and prosperity is the best option for every Indian.
