A Gay Marriage Surge

Even with a brother-in-law who is gay, I am against gay marriage, as is my wife. This issue is so ridiculous, and quite frankly pretty passé. It???s a little old. It is the California gay community latching on to and promoting an argument that the rest of the country is against, just like the South's argument for slavery - people holding onto an argument that was against the common good; time to let it go people. Secular Progressive agendas will destroy this country, just like an extreme conservative agenda would. This county was built on central values based in theology. I believe that if your gay you deserve all the rights entitled to marriage, but not name or a redefining of the meaning, For a group of people who understand the true value of tolerance and the lack thereof, you sure fail to see your own intolerance.

I know how to love my children and not raise my son to become male cheerleaders and hair stylists. Looks like this is a San Fran Fruitcake posting board.

Its pathetic. Next these queers will be adopting kids and creating dysfuntional familys. GOD created a man and a woman for a reason.
A child needs a father and a mother not a couple of ferries running around.

It is amazing how little people think things through to their logical conclusion: The best way to close out this discussion is to just allow homosexuals the rights they are asking for.

Assuming that homosexuality is genetic:

1) The only reason homosexuals still exist is that they have been so suppressed/repressed by heterosexuals they have forced themselves into hetero relationships which has allowed the genetic traits of homosexuality to continue.
2) If everyone (and this really would take everyone) would just give them what they want (legal and social legitimation of their relationships), the number of homosexuals who force heterosexual relationships on themselves would cease and the genetic spreading of their "nature" woud likewise cease.
3) In 100-150+ years they would simply die out.
4) Case closed.

Admittedly, this is an oversimplication but what do you expect, this is a blog post about a news article.

The reality is that homosexuality will never completely die out for 2 reasons:

1) It is not entirely genetic.
2) For those that are genetically homosexual, given the plan outlined above, the number of homosexuals will plummet and eventually they will become a fraction of a fraction of the overall population at which point we can go back to supressing their rights again like every democracy before us and they will go back to forcing themselves into hetero relationships. But at least it will give us heteros another couple thousand years of peace and quiet about the whole homosexual discussion.

The more time we waste on social issues of inconsequence (yeah, I said it), the less time we spend on dealing with the only social issues of consequence: How do we, as a world population, stop ourselves from destroying our species (via whatever catastrophe you champion be it global warming, nuclear holocaust set off by terrorists, mass epidemic, world war, widespead famine due to overpopulation, etc. etc.)?

For the record, I am hetero and love my wife dearly :). and I believe "marriage" is a religious right. I agree with those who want to separate "marriage" from civil unions. I support civil unions that afford the same rights as marriages for homosexual couples. I know it is all semantics, but that's just how I roll.

What about Christians. when are we the new black,. It is ok to bash Christians.And try to force their views on us, even though it is against our values. Gays are already given preferential treatment, especially in jobs.. It is gays who are intolerant of our views. And since liberals control the media, It has been a hard sell to the younger generation.Is it any wonder they support gay marriage. That is all they see on the internet and TV.

Public Support will never reach the point gay marrige will become a part of the American landscape. This should be evident after the prop 8 vote.
Gays keep trying to make it a civil rights issue when it is in fact a behavioral issue.
If this disfuctional behavior is to be legitimized then so should all disfuctional behavior become legitimate and that is not going to happen.

This should alert the Christian community that this is an undeniable sign of the end of this age. We should always contend for the faith and have a voice "crying out in the wilderness." Our focus should be on the age fullings and praying for strength and compasion on those deceived by this perversion. They think they were born this way, and if they were, they still have a choice. Many are born into poverty, but they make a choice not to continue. God's people are born into sin, but we make a choice to not stay in sin. Choice! That's what it is. Am I a religious zealot. You dog gone right. At least it is for a purposeful and righeous cause. I'll see God shortly, and so will we all...
