It is a civil ceremony between to people and frankly its an honor to ever be invited, and bere witness to such a greater love between two people who want to devote their lives to each other. Divorce among straights is 5o percent clearly they are in no position to speak of the holiness of marriage,these are the same people that are more upset of same sex marriage but abortion is legal.Ever hear of a condom or birth control pill.What is between 2 consenting adults is their business,how are 2 people of the same sex going to effect a straight persons life,its not.Seperation of church and state,if I want your religion I will go to your church,this country is not just Christian its multi religion and no religion.The problem occurs

How does someone force their lifestyle on someone, unless they are openly having sexual intercourse in front of you? Showing affection to a partner is normal, you see heterosexual couples holding hands, hugging and kissing openly in the world; How would this be any different if a couple of the same sex was doing the same thing? We are all God's children, or did I miss the fine print? I think that couples no matter what gender or sexual orientation should have the right to be accepted and recognized. Religion is "forcing their lifestyle" on gays; hmmm a little hypocritical don't you think?

People in California, Arizona, and Florida voted to keep marriage between 1 man and 1 woman. The majority won or doesn't the majority vote count anymore. It seems most doesn't want the majority vote to count unless it goes a certain way. Just because you didn't win in this election doesn't mean you will never have another chance to vote on the subject again. But don't try to change the way the Constitution is to suit you.

sorry you college educated journalist. The media is once again propagrating a myth. Most journalist are so deluted to what really goes on in the real world. If the above journalist was so concerned about the homosexual lifestyle, then go study the effects of it on the people that are involved. Comment: Contrary to the opinion of so many people there can be no separation of church and state, our laws are all based on bibical principles (with the exception of abortion). As it should be, when we start moving away from these principles we get in trouble as a nation. And those who say that we are not a nation set up and based on these principles all I can say is study it out for yourself, don't take everything that you hear or read on the internet as truth. The only truth we have is from God, read your bible and you will find the answer to the questions, and decision's we must make. What's right way to live and what is sin and temptation. Please don't believe what other people tell you. We must all study the gudeline God gave us to live by to know for ourselves how to live our lives. We all as individual's are and will be held accountable before God for how we live our lives. We can't blame someone else because it is our responsiblity to find the answer . Love is not always tellling someone they are right or supporting our loved one in a sinful life style, that is not what the Word teaches. We either believe in all the Bible says, or we don't believe any of it. If we pick what we want and say the rest isn't true, is only saying well thats not what I accept because it doesn't fit my lifestyle. Love is not sex and can not be defined as such. We are not born as anything but human beings with a freedom to decide if we live according to the principles of the Bible or not. If we are believer's or not. It is our choice, but it is also my commission and every other Christian to tell other's about the truth, you can accept or reject, but please read the Bible and decide for yourself, don't live by other uninformed peoples ideas. Because they are just that another human beings ideas....you need to know what the God of the Universe has to say about life and how we need to live it.
