Leftists always spout they believe in the individual and their rights, individual freedoms but when voters do just that by voting a certain way that goes against THEIR beliefs, then they want to call timeout and say "they got it wrong". The people in California in a fair election "got it wrong" so this needs to be overturned.

If God wanted same sex marriages he would have made Adam and Steve or Eva and Ada not Adam and Eve.... In God's eyes they are not married. .....Also one last thought California voted against it.... That tells me that Christians and their beliefs still outnumber the gay population.....The people have voted

Contrary to the opinion of so many people there can be no separation of church and state, our laws are all based on bibical principles (with the exception of abortion). As it should be, when we start moving away from these principles we get in trouble as a nation. And those who say that we are not a nation set up and based on these principles all I can say is study it out for yourself, don't take everything that you hear or read on the internet as truth. The only truth we have is from God, read your bible and you will find the answer to the questions, and decision's we must make. What's right way to live and what is sin and temptation. Please don't believe what other people tell you. We must all study the gudeline God gave us to live by to know for ourselves how to live our lives. We all as individual's are and will be held accountable before God for how we live our lives. We can't blame someone else because it is our responsiblity to find the answer . And when it is written in the all inspired Word of God we just can't disagree with that. We can't take the Bible and believe the parts that fit our lives, we must fit our lives to the Wors of God. Love is not always tellling someone they are right or supporting our loved one in a sinful life style, that is not what the Word teaches. We either believe in all the Bible says, or we don't believe any of it. If we pick what we want and say the rest isn't true, is only saying well thats not what I accept because it doesn't fit my lifestyle. Love is not sex and can not be defined as such. We are not born as anything but human beings with a freedom to decide if we live according to the principles of the Bible or not. If we are believer's or not. It is our choice, but it is also my commission and every other Christian to tell other's about the truth, you can accept or reject, but please read the Bible and decide for yourself, don't live by other uninformed peoples ideas. Because they are just that another human beings ideas....you need to know what the God of the Universe has to say about life and how we need to live it.

I'm for gay union we all have had our civil rights .It's time they do also.

Equal rights for all couples gay or straight. Take religion out of the picture, this is about equal rights for loving couples.My partner and I have been together 20 yrs. Should something happen either one of us the other should have the same rights as a surving spouse of a straight couple. If hospitalized I should not have to produce a legal contract (costly) showing I can visit and make decisions for him.
If you do want to bring religion into the picture and say that being gay is a choice so there should not be equal rights, think about this. No person is born into any religion. They are taught from a young age about whatever religion their parents choose to raise them in. They choose to believe in god/jesus/allah etc. so because someone believes in something different then the religion of your "choice" should they not have equal rights?

I really don't get it. Why do people care if two consenting adults want to get married? I have been married to a wonderful husband for 31 years. If others can find that sort of bond and love, I would just be very happy for them. Don't we want more love, kindness and tolerence for individual differences?

This same sex marriage bullshit has got to stop! Why they want to bring their filth to the pulic for? No one is born that way either! How can anyone be born like that? When we are born, we don't know what are interest are. We have no thoughts on sex when we're born. How obsurd! Man, there are alot of messed up people in this world. It's really a shame. If the author had any intestinal fortitude, he would attach an online survey to his concoction. This would demonstrate whether there is such a groundswell of public sympathy for gay marriage, or if his article is more of a vain attempt to convince a skeptical readership of the emperor's sartorial resplendence.

Marriage is by definition between a man and a woman....part of marriage is the ability to procreate, so no matter if you think you are married you will never be accepted in any place in any part of the world or life with most epole that you are an equal...even if you sneek it into law...we all really know what you are...and so do you...time will take care of this...truth will prevaile... nature will do its course...and i sure the hell wouldnt want to be on that side of things when it does...good luck...
