End of the Line for Islamabad

The writer has failed to show the other side of the picture, obviously he has Indian roots but it does not make sense to mention what he has heard from Indian officials and simply ignore the Pakistani prospective.

Soon after the Mumbai???s attack, Zardari condemned these attacks and promised to send the ISI???s head to India but he did not back down because army was not happy about that as the writer mentioned, he did back down because Mr. Mukherjee (mukar gee as known in Pakistan) threatened Pakistan with military action.

Everybody in Pakistan is sad about terrorist attack in Mumbai but soon after the attacks it was declared the India???s 09/11 planned by Pakistan. War slogans were being telecast round the clock. As a responsible country Pakistan promised to help in investigation and asked for evidence but nothing has been made available yet. How on earth one country can convict an individual on the basis of media reports. India should hand over evidence to Pakistan if it believes that somebody from Pakistan is involved.

Being opportunist, Indian???s regime thought, well this is the time to put pressure on Pakistan to score some brownie points. Lot of Indians are talking about attacking Pakistan as the US did after 09/11 but they fail to understand that India is not America. Pakistanis are proud nation and know well how to defend their country.

India should do some sole searching exercise and look inwards not outward. Hundreds of Christians and churches were burned and nuns were raped couple of months ago by Hindu terrorists, leave alone the terrorist activities committed against Indian Muslims.

Writer has mentioned that ISI is the biggest problem but failed to mentions deeds of RAW which is supporting the terrorists fighting Pakistan Army in tribal belt and Baluchistan.

Unless India stops creating problem in the neighboring countries, it should stop blaming its neighboring countries.
AFTERALL India doesn???t have friendly relations with any one of its neighbors.

War is never a good solution but Collabration on agreement on several issues.when India speaks of Terrorism, Pakistan pulls out its age old issue of Kashmir.These countries do not need to spend all their time and energy on a piece of land which on both sides is infected with unemployment,poverty and suffering.They should get more practical and focus on economical growth. Article 19 states: "Every citizen shall have the right to freedom of speech and expression ... subject to any reasonable restrictions imposed by law in the interest of the glory of Islam or the integrity, security or defence of Pakistan or any part thereof, friendly relations with foreign States, public order, decency or morality, or in relation to contempt of court, [commission of] or incitement to an offence."

The main problem, people, is that America's ultimate goal is imperialism. now China stands in the way. who is China's strongest ally? Pakistan. Whats happening in Pakistan suddenly? Total chaos.

Your interpretation is incorrect. Pak army/ ISI has both pan-islamist jeahdis and "modern, western- educated " types like General Musharaff. But both these groups share one common agenda, using jehadi terrorist groups as a leverage against India. Some have started realizing how much bad consequences Pakistan has endured because of this stupid policy, many haven't. The "Kashmiri freedumb struggle" consisted of rape, genocide and expulsion of Kashmiri Hindus from their homeland. This was "achieved" by the Pak army with the use of Lashkar-e-Toiba terrorists. TO PUT IT SUCCINCTLY, Lashkar-eToiba is the jehadi terrorist wing of Pak army. The terrorists who attacked Marriott hotel are pan-Islamist jehadis, NOT IN THE CONTROL of Pak army.

As a secular Indian I grant all the rights under the Sun to patriotic muslims like MJ Akbar all he wants to criticize Gujarat riots or Babri Masjid demolition. I COULD grant such rights to Pakis if only
(1) Pakistan had stayed a secular republic and not the "Islamic Republic" as it is with constitution that declares only a muslim can become president.

(2) Pakistan has a 15% Hindu population in its current territory. In 1947 20-30% f population was Hindu, in the present day geographic area that makes up Pakistan.

(3) If only there are Hindu missile scientists in Pakistan, if only the most popular movie stars in Pakistan happen to be infidel Hindus, if only Pakistan had a Hindu cricket captain, if only 3 out of 11 members in its cricket team are Hindus.
