The drop scene of drama, 'Ajmal Kasab' is nearing. I suggest that your own Ramaish Misra (if not Arundhati Roy) be heard.

Th efounder of Pakistan Muhmmaded Ali Jinnah's grandfather was Poonja Meghji, a Bhatia from Paneli village in Gondal state in Kathiawar. Jinnah's ancestors were Hindu Rajputs that converted to Islam.

Jinnah a hindoo convert became the father of islamic Republic of Pakistan!!!!!!

At age 43 he married a 18 year old parsi girl!!!!!
Before that Jinnah used to meet IN SECRET for 2 YEARS the underage parsi girl against her father's wishes!!!!!
That would be a crime in USA!!!!!

Just like the poet IQBAL The founder of Pakistan was DESCENDANT OF HINDOOS!!!!!!!!!!

Nawaz Sharif the former PM of Pakistan and Muslim league leader has admitted that the mumbai terrorist Moihmmed Ajmal Kasab/Amir Iman is a Pakistani from Faridkot village in Okara district of Pakistani occupied Punjab.
Mr. nawaz sharif the former and respected PM of pakistan has aggressively questioned why Mr. 10 percent bribe taker Zardari has asked cops to cordon off the caught Pakistani terrorist house in pakistani faridkot and security forces are not allowing anyone to meet Kasab's father.
While the bribe taker Zardari keeps on lying, Mr. Nawaz Sharif has taken th ehonest approach.
The fraud pakistani President Zardari continues to lie that any pakistani was involved!!!
And Zardari has actually become the laughing stock of the World.
Zardari has not shown any interest in investigating the assasinationion of his wife Benazir Bhutto but he keeps on shedding crocodile tears in public often mentioning her name.
    This sounds so convinient!!!!!!
Zardari is President!!!Gilani the woman like gay talker is PM.
Sharif is out of power and
    so is Mushraaff!!!!
The honest supreme court judges have not been reinstated in their positions!!!!
Everything has gone good for Zardari - the Mr. 10 percent bribe taker!!!!!!

    Pakistanis an out all minorities.
In fact hindoo population of pakistan went from 15% to 1% since 1947.
Obviously large scale forced conversions by pakistani sunnis took place forcing minorities to either flee pakistan with nothing or force to convert. Out of fear many choose to convert.
The same went for other minorities obviously.
The sunnis who run pakistan regularly committ act sof violence against Muslim shias, muslim ismailis, muslim bahais, followers of agha khan etc.
Pakistani seven committe dgenocide against fellow countrymen bangladeshis who had to plead democratic India for help.
India by God's grace liberated Bangladesh.
Pakistani Indian muslims like Muhajirs are regularly subjected to violence by native pakis.
The family of Pakistan's founder Mohmmaed Ali Jinnah ran away from pakistan and instead made a choice to live in India!!! They grandson of pakistan's founder still live sin India and loves it!!!
What could be more damning evidence for the failure and intesne dislike of pakistan that the founder sgrandson has chos eIndia to make home!!!

    • Posted By: M.Taimur @ 12/18/2008 2:40:22 AM

And as far as Quaid's offsprings are concerned, its very complicated faimly issue. Jinnah married a Parsi women and she and after her sad death, her kids spent most time in their maternal faimly. Her daughter married a Parsi guy and because of that rift between him and her. She remained with husband faimly in India and her kids consequently in India and Britain.

I must admire your skills of so ferviously spouting bullshit. Your quiet a chap. You conveniantly forgot Quaild's Sister and other faimly memebers who are still remained or still live in Pakistan.

the hindu population was 15%???....at time of Pakistan's independence. WHAT WHAT???? source please. No propoganda, source please

  • Posted By: gujjer @ 12/18/2008 12:19:57 AM

Arundhati Roy is of the view that, ???November isn't September, 2008 isn't 2001, Pakistan isn't Afghanistan and India isn't America. So perhaps we should reclaim our tragedy and pick through the debris with our own brains and our own broken hearts so that we can arrive at our own conclusions???. Very right she is but who would listen to her? Indians? Majority of them, no way. Why? Because they have already dubbed her as a Pakistani agent. Its propagated in the media that India acted wisely. No I don???t agree with that. Of course a large number of Indians reacted to it sanely but the media response was very irrational and unwise. Media hype was created; war-mongering was at the peak. The way the Indian TV channels were addressing and accusing Pakistan in a shallow, disgusting and low manner could be termed as unbecoming of any civilised nation.
Remember one thing that when you point one finger at others, don???t forgot those four fingers which are pointing towards you. Before blaming Pakistan for the terrorists??? nurseries, why India (as a state) forget its role in the dismembering of Pakistan, colonizing Nepal, Bhutan, Sikkim and mass murdering of Kashmiris by its rouge troops? What you sow, so shall you reap. I am not saying this; rather it was late Chinese premier Chou En Li, who said this soon after the fall of East Pakistan. If the Indian had the authority to intervene or more precisely butt in Pakistan???s affairs in 1971 then what stops Pakistan from supporting the inopportune people of Republic of Nagaland, Republic of Assam and at least eighteen other entities including Kashmir who are fighting for their basic right of independence? India must thank Pakistan (and her stars) that Pakistan always refrains from doing so.
What Indians are doing to their minorities is another gloomy story. The Muslims, Christians and their very own Dalits are living a miserable life in India. The secular India???s shameful history is full of sickening and ghastly events. So talking of religious freedom doesn???t correspond to their Hindu psyche and behaviour generally.
Last but not least is a neighborly advice that never ever thinks of dismembering Pakistan, because its existence is in your own interest. The debris of a broken (God forbid) Pakistan would claim and collect all the assets but the nuclear arsenals. Right now the command, control and security of this system is one of the safest, secured and sophisticated system of the world, as fine as American or Israeli control systems are but guessing its fate in case of Pakistan???s braking can nothing be less than a nightmare. The earlier one understands the better it is.

I think that my dear friend from Pakistan was "quite" restrained over the extremist comments. This kind of the attitue is the problem and was the original reason for the independence of Pakistan. Certainly no one would like to until extremist Hindus could learn some little manners and be civilzed enough to live side by side with "Shudars" muslims...... Dont go to far, forget muslims, you guys can not even tolerate chistians. Want me to show you churches you have burnt on google map ?? want me to show you the charred corps of nuns and priest ? Well, at least they get money and support from western countires, how about some horrifying images from 'marvelous" massacare you ultimate humanity achieved in Gujrat and other places. My dear friends, what is precisely the reason secular leaders like Jinnah and Iqbal who where stench supporters of Hindu Muslim unity had to revise their idealogy !
Additionally, learn to learn from history. And try to improve memory. This kind of elements could only florish in pakistan because of the extremist hindus and state terrorism. But of course, who like to remember what they already want to ignore.
Development in India....lol... That is hat I listen all the time from my friends from the other side. Inspite of all the development concentrate in those parts of the British empire which are in India, the "miracle of democracy" was far behind pakistan until mid 90s., until God took mercy on them and made china a danger for western countries. and then the bang !! Certainly, its the time to cash 1.2 billion card in this capitalistic world !!
Pakistan is a just a victum of interests of some powers on both end. It is made to succeed and will certainly succeed. Its just the matter of time my friends.

    • Posted By: karaswart @ 12/16/2008 5:50:05 AM

But why did a supposedly Muslim country like Pakistan indulge in the slaughter of 3 million Bengali Muslims. And why do Shias, Ahmediyas and other Muslim sects face so much safer in Pakistan? A Shia Muslim is much safer in India than in Pakistan? Correct??

      • Posted By: khan.uzair @ 12/17/2008 10:58:21 AM

I seriously doubt that muslims are safer in india as long as they are living in some place like gujrat. Muslim Genocide in Gujrat is only the tip of the glacier. We can only pray for muslims in india that the whole country is not turned for them into gujrat by radical hindus. It is insane to see claims of safety for minorities from a country who has a history of massacre of minorities; be it massacre of Sikhs in Delhi after assassination of Indra Gandhi, massacre of christians priests and nuns in churches or burning of Samjhota express by indian secret services.

  • Posted By: jimgreen @ 12/15/2008 12:39:33 PM

Hasn't India had three Muslim presidents? How did they manage that in a Hindu country? :-)

    • Posted By: khan.uzair @ 12/15/2008 12:57:43 PM

putting three people from minorities to a ceremonial position like president proves nothing. Make muslims prime ministers if you are so sincere to minorities.

      • Posted By: karaswart @ 12/16/2008 5:52:07 AM

Curreny Indian Prime Minister is Dr. Manmohan Singh- a Sikh. The most powerful politician in India is Sonia Gandhi. An Italian origin Catholic Woman. Does it answer your question?

        • Posted By: khan.uzair @ 12/16/2008 2:45:35 PM

Right, but is not this a fact that sonia is not India's Prime Minister because fundamentalist hindus could not tolerate a christian and that too an expatriate as their prime minister and she had to niminate Manmohanat at the last moment under pressure from radical hindus who considered a sikh as a less risky shot than an expatriate christian lady.

          • Posted By: brownboy @ 12/17/2008 10:39:41 AM

Sonia Gandhi and Manmohan Singh belong to the Congress party, not the BJP, which is the one aligned with Hindus. The reason her leadership would have been controversial was because she was foreign-born, not because she was a Roman Catholic. This idea of not allowing foreign-born leadership is written into the constitution of most countries, including the US. As I said in a another post, when Pakistan lets a non-Muslim lead the country, then Pakistanis can argue about who gets to lead India. Otherwise, your argument is ridiculously hypocritical.

      • Posted By: brownboy @ 12/15/2008 10:00:50 PM

How about Pakistan first place a non-Muslim in at least a ceremonial position? Then you can lecture other countries on what they need to do. You do not get to complain about minority rights in other countries when your own, the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, proudly proclaims in its very name the intolerance that you will find in that sorry excuse for a country. Is there even justification for Pakistan to exist anymore? The whole reason this piece of crap country was even created was as a so-called haven for Muslims. Considering there are more Muslims in India than in Pakistan, there is no rationale for Pakistan to even exist.

        • Posted By: khan.uzair @ 12/16/2008 2:53:37 PM

The best thing about Pakistan is that people here are what they are, they are not like india which claims to be a secular state but is run by radical hindus. A political party like BJP which is religious to its core can never come to power in pakistan. Is not it true? Name a single incident of genocide against minorities in pakistan and I will name a hundered in India. Pakistan does not need to claim something which it is not. India should have the courage to do the same.

          • Posted By: brownboy @ 12/16/2008 7:55:57 PM

Pakistan is a military dictatorship that claims to be a democracy all because it has put a puppet like Zardari in the foreground. As far as I can remember, over the last 60 years, it has almost always been run by its military and the ISI. So your claim about Pakistan's authenticity rings hollow. As for those who think Kashmir is Pakistan's big issue, how about taking care of the land that it has right now? The country is imploding as we speak and they want more land and people to screw over?

        • Posted By: B.A.Khan @ 12/16/2008 2:12:44 PM

Glad to hear from your own tongue the hindu mentality and inherent hatred towards pakistan's existence that provided the sole reasons for partition of India.

  • Posted By: karaswart @ 12/11/2008 5:18:43 AM

Don't forget that we are approaching December 17th the anniversary of the liberation of Bangladesh, which ended the bengali Muslim genocide. The Pakistani Army calls itself a ' Muslim' Army, but it had no compunction in butchering 3 million Bengali Sunni Muslims. Shias and Ahmediyas are fair game in Pakistan, which is why Iran is anti Pakistan. Please google 'Bangladeshi Genocide 1971' and read whicever links that you trust. The sad part is after claiming the world record for murdering the highest number of Muslims , the Pakistani Army claims Islamic credentials. How can they be Islamic?

    • Posted By: B.A.Khan @ 12/16/2008 2:07:32 PM

Iran is anti pakistan? since when? I think that is breaking news brought by our correspondent from space.

    • Posted By: B.A.Khan @ 12/15/2008 2:47:57 PM

Lets not forget the deeds of angel Indian army while talking about 1971,who added fuel to the fire by playing a major role in training the bangali militans. i think the evil role of Indian Army should be asked to googled as well.

      • Posted By: brownboy @ 12/15/2008 10:13:16 PM

I believe B.A.Khan should first be certified as being severely mentally retarded. Then I will look into how India had to get involved in Pakistan's civil war after 10 million East Pakistani Muslim refugees flooded into India for safety. Despite this, India still waited for Pakistan to preemptively attack at which point, India retaliated, Pakistan surrendered two weeks later, and Bangladesh was created. Not a proud part of our Muslim neighbor's history.

        • Posted By: B.A.Khan @ 12/16/2008 5:12:41 AM

when people got no knowledge of facts and history and their hearts filled with the hatered towards a particular nation; they do personal attacks.

  • Posted By: karaswart @ 12/16/2008 5:47:28 AM

BA Khan: That way we have to admire the Bangladeshi's. Inspite of suffering genocide of 3 million of their people at the hands of the Pakistani Army (which ended December 17th, 1971) they bear very little ill will. truly good people.

    • Posted By: khan.uzair @ 12/16/2008 1:50:02 PM

Agreed, but as you appreciate bangladeshi people, please do not forget the Kashmiris who have a larger cause and that too against a much bigger and desperate army.and they are putting up a great fight in spite of the attrocities indian army has carried out there.

  • Posted By: khan.uzair @ 12/16/2008 1:30:49 PM

Brownboy; you have rightfully asked everyone in this debate to talk facts and not use propaganda. This much I agree with you, but I would also like to supplement that before accusing others and making demands one has to act upon it oneself. The irony of your comment is that one can not find even a single argument or fact brought forward in it. Your comment is itself nothing but a pile load of propaganda filled with arrogance.
Secondly, Gurubugz is right when he asks you to behave. This is the website of an internationally acclaimed magazine. Not one of your many propaganda news channels where you can use the kind of language you are using here. You are destroying a decent discussion with blah blah that nobody appreciates.
Just ask yourself, without prejudice and your inherent hatred towards Pakistan, ???What does Pakistan or any independent organization from Pakistan Stands to get from killing an officer who was investigating the incident of samjhota express and was so close to revealing the real terrorists in india like the Indian army colonel who confessed to the killing of innocent Muslims in the train?. But I am afraid that you would not allow your stereotype mind the liberty to think about that becasue That colonel can be a hero to people like you who live on the hatred they posses towards others.

  • Posted By: GuruBugz @ 12/16/2008 1:28:55 AM

Brownboy you need to learn some(lots of) manner. Calling other people severly mentally retarded and countries Piece of Crap in every other sentence, does not prove that you are right. It just proves to most of us that you have never attended a civilzed debate much less being a part of it and are in capable of doing that even on Newsweek's website.

    • Posted By: brownboy @ 12/16/2008 10:16:25 AM

I didn't realize there is a self-apointed moderator on this site. Anyway, I don't mind holding my tongue and sticking to debating facts if people stop spreading useless propaganda. It's incredibly arrogant and hypocritical for a country that uses Islamic ideology to justify terrorism while accusing other nations and religions of being intolerant. What is even more ridiculous is when individuals spread that nonsence without realizing the foundation for their argument is built upon a country that is ruled by its military, sponsors groups like the Taliban, does not allow any kind of freedom of speech or belief, and yet has the nerve to hold its democratic and secular neightbor, India, to a moral standard that it itself has never and will never achieve. As for your response to my name calling, stop wasting your time taking offense for other people and write something substantive and factual. Otherwise, it's tough to have a "civilized" debate.

  • Posted By: M.Taimur @ 12/16/2008 5:00:17 AM

A fact that has largely gone un-noticed or deliberately ignored in India is the rejection of the Indian contention by the Supreme Court that Pakistan was behind the Parliament Attack. As pointed out by the Supreme Court verdict, charges of a `Pakistani Connection', based solely on confessional statement of Muhammad Afzal Guru obtained by Police under POTA, were simply untenable.

  • Posted By: VijayBee @ 12/13/2008 8:57:43 PM

I partly endorse the comment made by one of the reader namely Muhammad Zafrullah that Indian Govt has acted sensibly by not rushing through a hasty response. Thanks Muhammad Bhai. But that is what a well founded healthy democracy is meant to do.People like you would appreciate the benefits of democracy once you too have tasted it in Pakistan. Your assertions that Indians hate Pakis is untrue. India is a stated secular country and time and time again we have provided proof of this to the world. India had 3 Muslim President, 1 Air Force Chief Of Staff, countless Lt Gen & senior military officers, the father of our nuclear bomb is a Muslim. 2 Muslims have captained the national cricket team and current cricket team has 4-5 Muslim players. Pakistan had one Christian player called Yusuf Yohana and he too converted to Islam possibly to get more acceptance for captaincy. Yes, Muslims have by & large struggled economically but so too have far greater number of Hindus too. This is not because of any discrimination.
Come & visit India and you will see the prosperity and economic boom in every facet of life as compared to Pakistan which is struggling at this point in time from being a failed state. Ponder over the reasons of this massive disparity and pose the question to your leaders.

    • Posted By: B.A.Khan @ 12/15/2008 2:41:17 PM

before putting such a nonsense blame on yousaf yohana, personally ask himself why he has converted to Islam. Unlike India,In Pakistan every person is free to convert to any religion.

      • Posted By: brownboy @ 12/15/2008 9:49:25 PM

Just as Henry Ford once said you can get the Model T in any color as long as it's black, you can convert to any religion in Pakistan as long as it's Islam. Otherwise, they will either kill you or kick you out of the country. It's not by chance that 60 years after Independence, there are more Muslims living in India than in Pakistan, but you'll be hard-pressed to find a single Hindu in Pakistan.

  • Posted By: B.A.Khan @ 12/15/2008 2:36:32 PM

Over the past sixty years, India has always blamed Pakistan for every minor happening however, the history has revealed that India herself is a terrorist state where the minorities have been deprived of their rights. The gruel some incidences like Babari Mosque, Samjhota express, Ahmadabad etc are the explicit glimpse of Hindu extremist who the real terrorists are. India is only being promoted and lifted by some powers to compete with China; otherwise India???s social problems are far greater than any other nation in South Asia.

  • Posted By: khan.uzair @ 12/15/2008 10:46:08 AM

Comments from two of my friends from India are in deep contrast to the caption of the article above "No fanning the flames". It only depresses one to see such a language and radical viewpoints on the website of a magazine of Newsweek's Stature. Pakistan, itself, has remained a victim of terrorism. But the only difference between India and Pakistan's reaction is that Pakistanis (Government and People both) do not jump onto conclusions, otherwise the Marriott bombing in Islamabad could have been blamed to any one of many Hindu radical organizations. But, the point is; doing so will not exonerate us from the responsibility of security lapses on our part. India should see how its security structure works and at least make it at par with the high claims of it's modernization. It seems that India's agencies, responsible for security of its citizens, are not shining as much as the country is.

listen hopeless Paki s are in despair, holding onto same old delusional thoughts and taking consolation reading Arundthathi Roy and Kuldeep Nayyar. Lashkar-e-Toiba has publicly declared its ultimate goal ...is to have the "Islami flag" fly on Delhi's Red Fort. Today A. Roy will ask India to give up kashmir, tomorrow she'll say give up Delhi. The day after she will say she really wants to be a dhimmi and be a slave to you. You have nothing else but just keep regurgitating her excreta on this board.

And by the way this LET' chief "professor" Saeed went to Saudi Arabia for "higher studies" (HA HA HAHA HHAH HAH AHA). Music is totally banned. Dhimmi Arundthai Roy cannot show her ugly face under Islamic rule of this "professor". Shia muslims and lots of other Muslims are not practicing the "Real Islam" according to this "professor". He heads the Islamist jihadi wing of the Paki "Intelligence service".......He lives in big farm house luxuriously and many many "prfessors" like him are vigorously promoting "higher education " in "Pakistan" .....HA HAH HA HAH HAH ....You escaped "Hindu domination" and had A "FREE" "ISLAMIC REPUBLIC OF PAKISTAN"...for 61 years.and look what a shytwhole of a "country" you have produced now.

What makes you think the "Hindu Baniyas" and Ladakii Buddhists, and "American Cruaders" will be interested in producing another "ISLAMIC REPUBLIC OF KASHMIR" right next to "Pakistan" ? Very funny. The latest I heard Ban Ki Moon is only interested in the welfare of "Professor" Saeed....He is not seeking the input of Dhimmi A. Roy.

After more than sixty years of independence what has "pure Pakistan" to show to the world except poverty, lack of purpose and direction amongst most of its population and a cesspool of terrorists outfits. Leadership in Pakistan needs to
give its citizens something more to strive for than just virulent hatred and obsession with India.

  • Posted By: Neel Vidha @ 12/14/2008 1:15:22 AM

India is itself a terrorist country, look at them what they are doing to Asam, look at them what they have done to Indian Punjab people, look at them what they are doing to kashmiri people, they are not giving even basic rights to other religion people. Hindus are Hindus, they cannot be friend of anyone. they are terrorist themself and India will be scattered into hudereds of countries soon.
