im 21...im tech savvy and yea im part of that so called new college generation....but even i know the difference between right and wrong....i live in california ...in la pretty close to west hollywood...i see the gay agenda firsthand.

it will never stop...today they want to get married...tomorrow they want gay male child birth thru technology......adoption rights and so forth

homosexual relationships are not well functioning families they never will be its just psychologically not possible....yet they have that "anything you can do i can do" attitude which inevitable through their selfish greed will bring children into the picture....i dont think any child deserves to live a life raised in a perversion of every religion worldwide.

I think Newsweek is no longer interested in honesty and equity in journalism and reporting. There are two sides to this debate, and to the Proposition 8 effort. All I have heard of late from this magazine is trash written by gay activists maligning "religious people", misrepresenting and misinterpreting the Bible, and deriding our values and beliefs.

I haven't seen Newsweek print an article applauding our grass roots efforts to get proposition 8 passed. A lot of people sacrificed time, effort, and their own personal finances to bring that amendment to the California constitution to pass. The fact that it passed was the will of the PEOPLE of the state, not the decision of some judge bent on legislating from the bench.

I'm sick of the agenda of this magazine and the gay activist journalists turning out rabble rousing articles and comparing themselves to the civil rights movement. I'm calling today to cancel my subscription to Newsweek, and plan on never visiting this website again. I encourage anyone else who is tired of this magazine calling evil good and good evil to do the same.

For all of those who are quoting the few lines of the Bible regarding homosexuality as justifcation for your prejudice, let's see how many of you are actually following ALL of the laws laid out in Levidicus. Do you wear only garments made from single fibers and not mixed (poly-cotton blends are out)? Do you keep kosher? Do you cut your hair and beard in the proscribed manner? If you are a woman, are your ritually cleansed after menstruation and childbirth? If you are a man, have you ever touched or had sex with your wife while she was menstruating? If your child speaks disrepectfully to do, is he stoned to death? Do you keep slaves?

According to Leviticus 11:10 "But all in the seas or in the rivers that do not have fins and scales, all that move in the water or any living thing which is in the water, they are an abomination to you." So anyone who's ever chowed down on a shrimp cocktail or a plate of fried calimari has committed as great a "sin" as a homosexual act. Per Levidicus 11:7 "and the swine, though it divides the hoff, having cloven hooves, yet does not chew the cut, is unclean to you." So all of those nice pulled pork sandwiches that you've enjoyed are a ticked straight to hell.

Please don't try to use the bible as a mallet against homosexuals unless you are following ALL of the laws prescribed. Someone very smart said once that the bible has 6 admonishments against homosexuals, but 362 admonishments towards heterosexuals. That doesn't mean that God doesn't love heterosexuals - He just thinks they need more supervision.

This is DISGUSTING!!! First of all, why should gays be given special rights when millions of hardworking, decent American people are struggling for everyday survival?!! Secondly, why are gay groups claiming that they are 'tolerant' of others who disagree with them, and then turning around and threatening American citizens, including the Mormans, and other churches, who are led by the Word and their conscience, as to how they voted. Thridly, since gay groups seem to view this as a religion, why aren't they being investigated for possible racketeering charges like society condems Christians? Fourthly, why aren't they being investigated as 'gay' as a possible religion? If they have 501 tax-free status, and they harass others, then why aren't they held to the same standards that Christians are held to when someone 'feels' threatened? Fiifthly, it is pure COWARDICE for gays to claim that they face the same discrimination as blacks and other ethnic groups. If they faced that much discrimination, then why do gays have all the high-paying jobs? Pure BS. Finally, this may be crude, but since gays don't seem to have much tolerance for those who differ with them, they need to take their attitudes, their money, their posessions, and themselves to another country that would welcome them!

Who in their right mind will choose this life where discrimination, hate and ignorance are daily things we have to deal with? What kind of God do you believe in? Is certainly not the one I belive in. My God, which I call Jesus Christ loves me for who I am.

Homosexuality, regardless of male or female is WRONG. God did not intend for this type of CHOSEN lifestyle and it is a lifestyle that is chosen, no one is born with nothing that makes them behave in this manner, it is a CHOSEN lifestyle and as the Bible says, "Man cannot lay down with man as with woman, it is an ABOMINATION, and woman cannot lay down with woman as with man, it is CONFUSSION" I don't dislike anyone who's chosen this lifestyle, I feel sorry for them that they've made a decision to disregard what God has said and is ignoring the TRUTH....

I think its horribly sad and disgusting that people are still fighting for equal rights in this country, and are being persecuted. This country is here because people fled to its safety to avoid persecution, and what do our citizen get? Persecution and separation. Everyone deserves to be treated equally and have the same rights reguardless of race, gender, religion, and sexual orientation. This country needs to take a good look inthe mirror and change its ways.

I agree SIN is SIN, in the eyes of God and Heaven. It's wrong no matter what you think. It's NOT love, it's not anything akin to civil rights or being Black or handicapped. Choosing a lifestyle that is totally against what God has said does not come without a hefty penalty. And that penality is death and hell. God created man and woman for each other, that's why we fit together the way we do. God intended our sex to be no just for enjoyment BUT for PROCREATION. There is not a man alive who can impregnate another man, or a woman who can impregnate another woman. This is why God has called man and man an ABOMINATION and woman and woman CONFUSSION, these things ought not to be. But it's the devils way for having some people fulfilling the lust of the flesh. Does God still love those who pratice this type of lifestyle? YES HE DOES! Just as he loves us one and all, BUT our SINS are a filthy stinch in his nostrels. ALL SIN is wrong to God.
