Their Own Obama

I couldn't finish this article, my eyes kept rolling too much. Yeah they're right, if you don't factor in the accomplishments and managerial experience, he's a dead ringer for Obama.

Since Newsweek is so liberal in political philosophy, I'm sure they'll build him up now, only to tear him down at some future date. Too bad. Newsweek used to be a genuine news source, but I can no longer trust them to be impartial.

Does no one here have any clue about history? Or about the meaning of words? If you had to have the power to oppress to be racist, then the people with the whereiwhall to be racist would be few indeed. So, look up a more useful and less personal definition of racism.

Martin Luther King was a life-long Republican. The Republican party has its roots in the abolitionist movement. It was the Democrats that tried to block civil rights, voting rights, etc. In fact, because the Democrats regained power in the 19th century, Reconstruction ended, African-American elected officials lost their positions in Congress and in the southern states, and an era of Democratic/Ku Klux Klan leaders began. Sen. Byrd of West Virginia is one of those, which doesn't seem to bother anyone on the left, because if you are racist and and leftist, then you are okay. That's why the degradation of leftist policies are never really addressed. How about analyzing policies by the numbers of people that are helped on a perment basis versus the number of people hurt by the policies? Or is that jus too damn rational?

Bobby Jindal will make a great VP for Sarah Palin, but he doesn't have the charisma for pres on his own. But after 8 successful years repairing the country, he'll make a poplular pick to replace the charismatic Palin. Like Bush after Reagan, except that Bush (both really) did not share the same politics as Reagan, leading to his downfall and the country's problems.

Sorry, he's not the GOP's Obama. He has many more years of quantitative experience and isn't the media darling that Obama is. He's a Republican and the media is against anyone who's not Democrat. Hell, they're even back for McCain after he lost. But Jindal is someone who actually has a track record and an impressive one at that. Obama has less experience than most dog-catchers. But the MSM was so caught up in MAKING him president, they overlooked it willingly.

We don't get a fair reporting of the facts. It is skewed to what whomever is reporting wants to be true as opposed to what is actually true. This is called propaganda, not news. Do you honestly think Americans are so stupid that they cannot see this? Please stop undermining our freedom by spreading propaganda and start doing your job of honestly reporting the news. Is it too much to ask?

YUCK! Only word to describe this exorcising creationist. He would put us in the dark ages. But having spent over 15 years living in Louisiana I can tell you I didn't meet one politician that I would support for President. Backward, extreme right etc. Being Catholic in Baton Rouge is a qualification to run for office. And the predominent religion is not Catholic it is corruption. Keep New Orleans, and redo the rest of the state.

I know plenty over "evangelicals" and they say catholics will go to hell because they pray to Mary. I wonder how they'll reconcile that in 4 years. I am a life long Episcopalian and take offens to his comments.....we have morality.....hopefully the south will not support a Catholic telling us all how to live.....I hope he stays in Louisiana....

Another Newsweek perspective on conservatism??? Whenever Newsweek attempts to report about conservative concepts, it can be likened to Islamic outlets reporting on Christian concepts. The skewed perspective would be laughable if more people actually took the time to learn the truths that are ultimately twisted in their perspective reporting.

Jindell is just another GOP Trojan horse. They have some serious issues to address moving forward in our party and I do not like the fact they keep throwing Palins and Jindells in front of me as immediate solutions. John MCCain is a good man and they GOP screwed him this party needs to get it together.

Why are you comparing Jindal to Obama. This guy actually has experience in an executive position. Obama has none. This guy has actually done something. Obama?....won't release the records of what he's done. Silly press.
