It'sNoWonder...Have you ever noticed if someone steals $10,000 they go to jail and if someone steals a few million, they write a book, relax and our laws protect them from theft? What's with our courts, regulators, and the checks-and-balance of government. "Who's Minding The Store"? Maybe it's time we "The People" take it all back. Sum it up in all one word...GREED.

In inverse to the movies message of your liifes actions effect so many, ( reminded of every action has an equal and opposite reaction) - he's the opposite of George Baily. VILIFIED??? HA! He praised them to NO END. iTo Ronnie, their was no better postition than someone pushing a pencil, racking upto 7 figure salaries and he saw it as the future of the country. Meanwhile he savaged the working man and wanted to know why everyone else couldn't be like your precious wallstreet goons. WHY is it that each time a crisis hits it starts at Wallstreet and bleeds into the rest of the country and we all suffer for the GREED of just a few?

He is anyone that works on Wall Street" - this is exactly the response that could damage American industry and financial services, Larry, I'm sure you are very resentfull at having lost $ or assets this year but to say that ALL wall street workers is corrupt is to say that a fundamental pillar of American success and business is useless and should be thrown out with the trash. Fraud is fraud but nobody forced you (Mr. American) to take out a 125% loan on a house you cant afford, max out your 19% AMEX and play the market on margin! Lets recover, re-build and perhaps make some new laws and oversight but keep it together people, Im sure when the market was good Larry here sang a very different tune.

How can you spot a Wall Street Crook? He is anyone that works on Wall Street.

Ironically, I just saw the play "The Voysey Inheritence" here in Chicago a month or two ago. It was written almost a hundered years ago, and yet it is still relevant today, as Madoff's case proves.

Absolutely stunning that this has been going on so long, but moreso that just a handful of investors were willing to trust this man implicitly, and not raise an eyebrow at the consistent montly returns. It's a sad story for all involved.
