    Why is no one stating the obvious? Here is a militaint muslim -US TRAINED-in microbiological weapons. After 9/11 anthrax was spread throughout the postal system by...as it turns out -a CIA OPERATIVE thus destroying our right to privacy through the mail. When are people going to pull their heads out and insist that our intelligence community be muzzled? They are NOT our solution but instead appear to be the SOURCE of all our woes.

    rahabilitation doesnt work look at all those crimanals and famous people that go right back to there old ways. here is my solution just kill him its not like he is a productive member of society.

    no chance for rehbilitation is it a proven fact that people that have been rehabilitated go back to there only ways? our government needs to relize that this a major problem find that guy and kill him before he kills a bunch of inocent people here or overseas.

    These devout muslims cannot and never will be "rehabilitated". When is the civilized world going to wake up to this reality. Perhaps it will take a major (or minor) biological attack on the US before something is done. Maybe the Bush administration had it right in their approach to protecting American soil. Let's hope the new administration follows suit. Better take care of the home folks first.

    I think the U.s, should stop givingf countrys American tax dollars to do what ever they want .We have done nothing but fill unscuppuluse pewop[les pockets. we should mind our own bussiness,and let these countrys go to Hell.Take care of our own people first.

    Datuk Seri Syed Hamid Albar, announced that Sufaat and five other detained Islamic militants were being freed because "they are no longer a threat and will no longer pose a threat to public order." Albar added that Sufaat "has been rehabilitated and can return to society."
    I would hope that this means that they all have been frontal lobotomized.

I thought the you would convience them that the enlightened Obama realized that the US deserved to be punihsed by the world but that he and you would fix the evils of our pathetic country and make us better.       I`m sure Obama and Biden will kiss their butts, and offer them anything they want to pacify them.What they should do is put a price on their head like Bin Laden, and let the bounty hunters take care of it. Of course, you have to take care of the bounty hunters also. I have no problem with this.This is what these people deserve. Nothing less than a bullet in the brain pan, I want to see them come back from that. Works for me.

    This is a bogus reaction to a bogus claim - surely, this man is perhaps innocent until proven truly guilty ? The so called 'crimes' mentioned smack of invention and a chance to shift blame away from the fundamentals - that the Bush government sustained its foreign policy through generating fear and dread of a fictional faceless army of militants that it could not find, strike or identify. In consequence, rumor , deceit, general 'feelings' and vicious desire was acted upon in order to persecute innocents. Once an act has been identified as resulting in actual, rather than possible harm, then surely justice should be prosecuted on an international basis - this is what the Hague's position is within the U.N. Charter. The jailing of this man for an attempt, but not an act, was illegal under both the Geneva convention as it applies to combatants acting on the scale of guerilla and terrorist conventions, and the UN Charter for International Justice as applied in 1949. The Malaysian government rightly conclude that, with the GloboBullies in the Bush Whitehouse on the way out, it was prudent and just to release a man held on the flimsiest of pretexts for a crime not comitted.

    Certainly, if Sufaat should prove to be part of an act that harms or kills, by all means bring him to justice. But an attempt, probably not successful, is not cause to violate his rights to fair trial and hearing, as well as presentation of hard evidence rather than violation of rights to satisfy a vicious international bully.

He`s a foreigner, not American.The only way to deal with terrorist is puttinga bullet in his brain. at least thats more humane than cutting his head off with a saw like they do..     Not so fast!! I`m sure their are some people in this country that would be more than ok with putting a bullet in this guys head. Matter of fact, if they would open season on these ***, I imagine their would be quite a turn out for them. Since the govt. is always throwing money away, throw some to international bounty hunters.These people would be eliminated, end of problem. Anyway, it works for me. I can live with this easier than I can germ warfare.What do other countries think of this, WHO CARES, its not them gasping for a last breath.I don`t care what my neighbor down the road thinks of me, why would I care what some country thinks.     I feel any potentialy highly dangerous type individual. who demostrated years in confinement -good character. should be dealt with accordinally; monitered, reporting monthly activity status etc. I also feel, while in confinement they s/b sedated and have a gps device installed in thier upper body cavity without them knowing of it. its a human concern, for the safety of the majority of people........ or life lock-up..............
