the republicans had a real star but i wonder why they put up that old geezer ,
its a riddle -i think it was deliberate as the poor man cannot even walk on stage and stood no chance ,he definitely was not the best rep for republicans compared to the black rock star obama is in his shining armour ,

i think you are correct it has become a soap opera but is there anything to suggest it was already not so -
the world has always been akin to a stage

Why people look for stardom lies with their lack of education, and thus their understanding of the most basic concepts of politics and economics that a ninth grader was expected to know several decades ago. Those who have some intelligence and real understanding, do not get caught up in the "celebritiness" of it all. If we do not get back to the basics of education, like studying the Constitution, basic immutable laws of economics, and some common sense values, we are doomed as people will make their political choices simply on looks and empty, but yet inspiring words.

Why not grow some cajones and just say what you and all the far left media demand: Be a celebrity otherwise we will crucify you in our weak willed, apologetic tabloid rags that, once upon a time, reported news. Not a single one of you are journalists, you are all self-gratifying, egomaniacal, manipulative, editorialists with absolutely less credibility than the average internet blog.... and you wonder why you are all going bankrupt.
