Choosing A Church

I truly believe that all of the racial talk is unnecessary and irrelevant. They have absolutely nothing to do with the job that President-Elect Obama will do while in the White House. As a "black" Christian, I have to make a point by saying that there are no Americans living in the United States today that are pure black or pure white anything. We are ALL a mixed people. History shows us that. In regards to the comment about Obama's skin being "lighter than that of the average "black" person, go back to my last statement. Because of our mixed ancestry, our skin tones vary. You will see ranges of dark and light skinned within one farm of children, with the same two parents. It goes back generations. But really, who cares. I am more concerned about my job, and feeding, clothing, and teaching my students. Barack Hussein Obama has shown my little black and white students that you may not come from much, but anything is possible- WITH GOD. AMEN!!!

AS I HAVE ALREADY SAID , I AM NOT AGAINST OBAMA BECAUSE OF HIS SKIN COLOR , ALTHOUGHT HIS SKIN COLOR IS NOT BLACK , LOOKS ARE DECEIVING ........... i DID NOT VOTE FOR THIS MAN BECAUSE HE IS A LIAR , (SMOOTH TALKER) HE IS A WEAK LEADER (NO EXPERIENCE) AND HE IS A DUMMY-CRAT.

How old are you? Not everyone volunteered for war, they were forced therer, have we forgotten Vietnam? My son fought in Irag and was injured, am I bitter? Absolutely not, I am proud that he has carried on what started with my great uncle who died in World War I, my uncle who fought in world war II, my father who fought in Korea, my ex-husband who was in Desert Storm, and the list goes on. I am not calling you names, I am trying to open your mind. I do not however, agree that Obama will continue W's vision of war. He will be quick and precise, he will not stand down to any nation that threatens our country but he will also not put our country in a recession by dragging something out that should have been handled in a far different way. If you feel I am calling you names, then please accept my apologizes.

Also, can people please stop typing in all CAPS. It's really hard to read and makes people think you are yelling...

To be fair, milk chocolate is not made from white and dark chocolate. White chocolate is technically not even chocolate. It is artificial. Milk chocolate is made with, well, milk and a lot of it. Dark chocolate simply has a higher concentration of the cocoa bean in it.

Anyways, the people on here bashing Christians need to grow up. Ajani, crpuryear, and melorenee obviously know very little about the Bible or what a follower of Christ truly believes. I'm not saying there are those who make it harder for the rest of us, however, the ignorant comments I'm reading on here are just that...ignorant. Christians are not against Barack Obama. They are against his beliefs on some issues. That's not a make or break situation though. As for the *** das100 below going off on Obama being black and not white, that's ridiculous. The man NOT only has a white mother and grandmother (of course, it was his white side that raised him, that should tell you something), but denying his white side is saying that whole side of his heritage doesn't exist. "Historical precedent" on a subject like this? That was thought up so long ago. In case you didn't know, we base most subjects like that on science today. The one-drop-rule doesn't change the fact that Obama has an entire WHITE bloodline. Denying this would be saying the white side doesn't matter, which of course it does. I'd say it accounts for his great position, especially since whites raised and educated him, NOT the black side. But i'm sure when Obama starts messing things up, the blacks will jump up and say "ohh, he's half white". Convenient, huh? Stick that where the sun doesn't shine.

PLEASE, SOMEONE, ANYONE OUT THERE....TELL ME WHAT THE COLOR OF A PERSON'S SKIN HAS TO DO WITH THEIR MIND, HEART AND SOUL?? DOES SKIN COLOR MEAN SOMETHING? These were the same people that were quick to brand anyone biracial as black! what about all those protesters calling him all kinds of racists comments during the election? Bi-racial or Black. He's an American. He considers himself black because until 2008 when the average American saw him, he was seen as a black man. It was the WHITEman that originated the one-drop rule so deal with reality. If it had been left up to African-Americans we would have been just Americans; however, the white Americans decided that if you mixed with a minority then you were downgraded to whatever that minority was and if you were white and consorted with one of another race then your offspring was "downgraded" to the lesser of the two. . .anyone that wasn't white!!! So please deal with the facts as it was and to some still is. Barack is here to show you that that bullXXXX is 100% wrong!!

You dont apologize to people who fought in any war. It's still a voluntary military and we sign up to be deployed to serve our country. The Presidents primary objective is to protect our borders and intrests abroad. Iraq is better off because of our miltary's sacrifice. I will not call you ignorant for your views our opinions. Name calling is what some do best. The counrty is better off due to our military strength brought on by Reagan and the Bushs. President Obama is my President and I wish him well. I would like to know what the author thinks were the "extremely ignorant" things that Warren has said. I understand that he has said things that may be offensive to those who do not believe as he or I do, but what is it that he is ignorant about?

Journalism in this country has taken on the stigma of lawyers...biased and not to be believed. No respectable joiurnalist offers personal prejudice or insight while reporting a story, this is rule #1 in journalism. So do me a favor, and call yourself a liberal commentator, therefore any and all who read your story will know what kind of bullsh*t to expect.

Obama is more Christian than the average Christian I come across daily. You are just like the Pharisee's, Sadducee's and all other religious zealots. You fear what you don't understand...If you really studied your bible you would know that God always chooses the foolish things to confound the supposed "wise". He is the one who allowed "BARACK HUSSEIN OBAMA" to become president. So, if you have any problems take it to Him and see what He says.
