Mr. Crain is an appeaser. In all of human history, when has appeasement resulted in anything other than the destruction of the appeasers?

I'm a Christian and I believe in the word of God as the definitive truth. Sexual Immorality is applied to all men (and women).
Are LGBT people evil? Of course not! They are no different from a heterosexual man who chooses to sleep around with different women. Are they both living a sinful lifestyle? Yes! Everyone has their point of view. So lets see it from Gods view point?



Romans 1:18-32
God's Wrath Against Mankind

18The wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness of men who suppress the truth by their wickedness, 19since what may be known about God is plain to them, because God has made it plain to them. 20For since the creation of the world God's invisible qualities???his eternal power and divine nature???have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse.
21For although they knew God, they neither glorified him as God nor gave thanks to him, but their thinking became futile and their foolish hearts were darkened. 22Although they claimed to be wise, they became fools 23and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images made to look like mortal man and birds and animals and reptiles.

24Therefore God gave them over in the sinful desires of their hearts to sexual impurity for the degrading of their bodies with one another. 25They exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator???who is forever praised. Amen.

26Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural relations for unnatural ones. 27In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed indecent acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their perversion.

28Furthermore, since they did not think it worthwhile to retain the knowledge of God, he gave them over to a depraved mind, to do what ought not to be done. 29They have become filled with every kind of wickedness, evil, greed and depravity. They are full of envy, murder, strife, deceit and malice. They are gossips, 30slanderers, God-haters, insolent, arrogant and boastful; they invent ways of doing evil; they disobey their parents; 31they are senseless, faithless, heartless, ruthless. 32Although they know God's righteous decree that those who do such things deserve death, they not only continue to do these very things but also approve of those who practice them.

Aye, Crain speaks truth regarding the "exlusionary" unity of Renna and her ilk. I did not support Obama in the election (I attend the Church founded by Jerry Falwell, with whom Renna seems not to completely agree)- but I've been cautiously optimistic about some of Obama's statements and Cabinet picks. Regardless of my vote, he will be my President, and I pray he continues his Cabinet (and judicial) appointments with the fortitude he's shown so far -- I'm as excited as Renna is disappointed that Obama's not become a puppet of the leftist fringe. Let us all remain in prayer for his wisdom as he leads (James 1:5).

As a straight person who doesn't believe any minority should be the target of discrimination, I am strongly opposed to the selection of Rick Warren. He is a horrible role model for the children in my family and I have already told them that the TV will be off during his presentation. Rick Warren is ignorant of the true scientific data surrounding the creation of homosexual individuals. Rick Warren lets his own personal preferences get in the way of true loving, non-judgmental Christianity. Where is the "Ye who is without sin, may cast the first stone? " What happened to treat thy neighbor as thy self?" Unfortunately, there are so many people in the U.S. that want their personal preferences to stand in the place of Christianity, that they have flocked to Rick Warren and made him a "Christian" leader. I don't want my children to see the Christian religion trashed, just as good Islamic people don't want to see their religion trashed by terrorists.

Furthermore, homosexuals are the currently targeted minority group when it comes to discrimination and to select someone who is willing to participate in targeting homosexuals, when there is so much pain within that community, is an extremely poor choice on Obama's part. People who are discriminatory in nature don't care who society selects as the targeted group, they only care that there is a group subject to their bashing. Spin a wheel on the discrimination game board and it can land on almost any group -Jews, blacks, women, immigrants, gays. Obama's goal should not be inclusion of discriminatory people who advocate exclusion of others, but of true inclusion. He should select people who are inclusive of all people.

Finally, the United States constitution guarantees the equal treatment of homosexual people. Homosexuals can not be denied rights under the constitution, nor can they be treated "separate, but equal" under the constitution. Either every heterosexual and homosexual couple gets married, or every couple is entitled to a civil union. Society can pick the terminology, but it must be the same terminology for all couples. To allow someone to speak at an important government function - an inauguration - who thinks he can trample the constitution just because of his belief system should be of great concern to Americans.

If Obama really wanted a conservative to participate in his inauguration, he should have selected someone who dedicates his or her life work to advocating other conservative positions such as a strong defense or a small government, not discrimination of minority groups.

OH MY, THE GAY COMMUNITY IS MORE INTOLERANT THAN CHRISTIAN-EVANGELICALS! (AN INDEPENDENT VIEW)

I have witness time and again the intolerance of Christian-Evangelicals and the Republican Party they support. And nothing is more annoying than self-righteous Christian-Evangelicals and the blatant cases of hypocrisy they belligerently try to explain away.

ONE RECENT EXAMPLE OF CHRISTIAN-EVANGELICAL HYPOCRISY
The Christian-Evangelicals slammed Britney Spears' mother for allowing her other unmarried teenage daughter Jamie Lynn Spears to get knocked up. However the hypocritical Christian-Evangelicals took the opposite approach with self-righteous Sarah Palin and her unmarried teenage daughter Bristol Palin when she got knocked up by the son of a 'Drug Pushing Wasilla Hillbilly'. The Christian Community and the Republican Party raced to the side of both Sarah Palin and her pregnant daughter to spin the issue around the fact that Bristol Palin did a good thing by not to aborting the child. HELLOOOO!!! Jamie Lynn Spears did not abort her child, but that didn't stop the Evangelicals from tearing into the Spears pregnancy.

HAS GAY COMMUNITY GONE BELLIGERENT?
But the level of intolerance by the Gay Community for Rick Warren's Invocation invitation at the Obama/Biden Inauguration has 'stunned me' and my friends. We have examined this thing and turned it inside out. And no matter how you cut it the level of intolerance by the Gay Community has surpassed traditional levels of Republican and Evangelical intolerance so much so the Gay Community has become downright cantankerous. I'm not sure if the Gay Community has noticed, but the good will Independents have for Gay causes is currently under a stress test.

EVANGELICALS HAVE NOT SCREAMED ABOUT REV. LOWERY
Today the Republican Party and Christian-Evangelicals are bitterly licking their wounds and disoriented from their recent loses. But through all their frustration with the Obama-Biden win, the Christian-Evangelicals have NOT castigated PE-Obama for his choice of 'gay marriage advocate' Rev. Joseph Lowery for the Benediction. How ironic.

THIS IS AN OBAMA/BIDEN CELEBRATION, NOT A GAY CELEBRATION
Maybe the Christian-Evangelicals have not freaked over the Rev. Lowery pick is because they recognize something the Gay Community has not acknowledged. And that is this is Obama's Inauguration. This is not a Gay Community Inauguration. Because this is Obama & Biden's party, they should be allowed to include who ever they want to their party. So the Gay Community need to take a chill pill and stop telling other people what minister they can invite to their own party.

The bible was written by backward, ignorant men who believed in slavery, racism, hatred and used religion as an excuse for their stupid practices. Religion poisons everything it touches. And you people who constantly use the bible as their answer for everything are just as ignorant.

The only way black people were given any semblance of equality in this country was by judicial decree. Blacks and whites were LEGALLY DENIED MARRIAGE until 1967. And then the "definition of marriage" was changed. Got it? It's about equal rights for all, and equal rights should not be granted by a SLIGHT majority for the rest of the populace.
