Conservatism as God intended. Too bad there are so few of you left.(And fewer every day.)

George Will are you a news journalist, because I see nothing of substance other then snide liberal inuendos. "African American from Chicago vs Plumber from Toledo" the sad part is most Obama voters probably think he was running against Joe. If it wasn't for the entertainment value of the nut jobs that post on this site Newsweek would be worthless

As usual, Mr. Will, you are erudite, accurate, and bitingly funny. But I take issue with two things:
    1) Andrew Cuomo has been a very effective Attorney General for the State of New York, and would make a good senator.
    2) There is nothing wrong with asking kindergartners to promise not to use poor language and slurs towards any group - it's called being polite.

Also, thank you for the new vocabulary word - it was not on Mrs. Maged's list in the third grade. Forfend: to avert or ward off. Good word. Too bad we can't apply it to the recession, but maybe we can apply it to the depression.

Enjoy the New Year. Should be quite a ride - with or without the Volt.

Maybe I'm getting old but it used to be that all parents taught the kids about good manners and it was just expected, not so much these days.

Sir, the Congresional Medal of Honor is Awarded, not won. Therefor a receipiant is not a "winner", he is an awardee. Other than that, you are one of the great writers of the 20th and early 21st centuries.

Another smoke screen from you...hot air rising everywhere...no substance behind the curtain..

For all intents and purposes, the words you try to use so eloquently fail you..Conservatism, as currently publicly defined by the Bush/Cheeney/Huckabee/Rove/Blankly/et.al.is DEAD. Gone...dust...smoke screens....POOF disappeared.....HA!

Maybe your alleged pal, Buckley left a note for you...'listen to my son, it would say..and everything I said to anyone while I was here was a lie !!
