The Democratic leader will be key to passing her new president's agenda.

The smooth, steely Speaker of the House made it her mission to thwart George W. Bush. Now she must transform herself from leader of the opposition to leader of the loyalists. Sounds easy enough: Democratic president, Democratic Congress, no problem. But if the Dems hope to hang on to that majority, they must prove they can deliver on Barack Obama's ambitious promises. Pelosi's colleagues are an unruly, ever-bickering bunch, and it will take all of her formidable political skills (and plenty of cajoling, threatening and pleading) to make sure they put Obama's agenda ahead of their own egos.

Pelosi is gutless and is owned by someone. For the Speaker to enter office with the proclamation that impeachment is off the table before she even knows what high crimes and misdemeanors were committed is no Speaker at all and is serving someone besides the people of the country. Oversight of the Executive is her first and probably most important job. She has done everything in her power to cover the Executive branch's crimes with incompetance and outright collusion. As a life-long Democrat I had hoped that Pelosi, and her impotent mirror-image Harry Reid, would stop the wiretaps, torture and the list of crimes being committed against our country, Constitution and heritage. Now, with her record as the harem girl of the Republican White House I would prefer her to pack Harry into her suitcase and resign herself to her rightful place as an embarrassing footnote to the Bush travesty. Do the nation a favor, Nancy, retire. It's obvious you don't have the spine for the job that has to be done.

Caroline Kennedy will not get the Senators position. Barak is his own man and youwon't see hom kissing up to Nancy.

IF PELOSI IS CONSiDERED powerful we are in trouble. You would be ok to judge the latest fashion trend but all else is a joke.
