He runs the most powerful company on the Internet. He's an adviser to the president-elect and was a front runner for the position of national chief technology officer before announcing that he wants to remain in the private sector. Google's success derives almost entirely from ads that appear next to search results when you type a word or term into the Google search engine; because these offer a measurable return, they should weather the downturn better than other forms of online ads. Indeed, Google's biggest problem is that some people worry the company has grown too strong. As problems go, that's a good one to have.

    Google sucks. They charge you a ton of money to advertise and if you don't do it you will never be found. I have a website that is hard to find and a page ranking of 1. Then I stopped running my ads for a month because of the price and now I have a ranking of 0 since I couldn't afford to pay for the advertising. SEO Optimization is a bunch of bull because I am optimized, but I have a feeling they changed the algorithm and now it's harder to get to the top. It's a giant waste of money.
