    This probably is the most inaccurate article I've ever read on John Lasseter and Pixar. As altosax29b stated, Pixar isn't making Princess and the Frog. They didn't make Bolt either. Both are by Disney Animation. Secondly, I don't know why the author of this article insists on paying dues to Warner Bros throughout this article and ending on that note as well. Lasseter was a lover of all things Disney, having worked in the theme parks even as a young man. At least end with a reference to 'that small mouse' and not some 'wascaly wabbit'.

    Saying that the new 3D 'mimics' the 50's era 3d is kind of insulting. They've made some amazing improvements with it.

    The notion that the term 'animation' has substituted the term 'cartoons' is incorrect. Cartoons still exist and are merely a subset of animation. The reason animation is now being taken more seriously because Americans are now being exposed to more than just cartoons.

    Also Pixar isn't making The Princess and the Frog, they are both made by Disney Animation.
