Well deserved. I love SRK. He is the best in the entire universe. Whenever im suffering from any stress or trauma I watch his movies & I get relief from it bcoz they are all about love & every humanbeing is hungry for love. And I know ur the best to describe love. And I pray to GOD that the negativity should not affect you at all. Who talk bad abt you are loosers & they know that very well. Your my only King & Actor in this entire universe...I LOVE YOU SRK.

Shahrukh Khan deserves this recognition. He obviousely works very hard and always has a great sense of humour. Most importantly he doesn't shy away from calling himself a Muslim and promoting more open and free thinking which will no doubt help both muslims and non muslimes alike.
So, Mr Khan good luck with all your future projects - your films, your (very expensive!) property development in Dubai and of course the IPL! Here's to 2009 being a better and more prosperous year for you!

With all respect, I think Shahrukh is gentleman and I respect him for his view on life and religion and his secular view. and most importantly I think he is Gauri's man and no one else's unlike other bollywood stars who had more than one affair or were in love more than once or married more than once. he is a perfect example of commitment.

But on the contrary I believe he sucks when he acts and as a man I feel, one has to be ether a girl or a gay to like shahrukh as an actor or movie star or a sex symbol.
I would also like to comment on his statement when he was asked to quit smoking on screen as a matter of fact amitabh bachan made a similar kind of statement on quitting smoking on the screen.
"when Shahruk and Amitabh think that their smoking or not smoking does not effect the people in their decisions to smoke how can they think they can help different brands to sell their products to people. how can they cell pepsis,santros,reied and taylors, buscuits and the worst part is we know they only do it for money.. do u think shahrukh or Amitabh drink pepsi frequently or to that matter even occasionally also.. He has shown tremendous strength and wit in the last 20 years that he has been in the public eye. He is also using that position to help others and to help India grow out of a caste system and into a more secular system that will lead to harmony and prosperity. He has used his talents to entertain people all over the world. He has helped those who live far from India still experience what they love about their country. He is definitely one of the world's elite.
