    You've got to hand it to Newsweek. They first ran the top 50 list and got a few GOPers to bite. That wasn't enough, so they ran an article on the Oprah/Barack combination. They knew the mouth-breathers couldn't ignore that. One thing the GOP can't stomach is a powerful woman. this threatens their very existance. A woman, an African Amerrican women at that. Newsweek baited the trap with a Billionaire African-American Woman and the result was predictable. A pop tart and a baloney slicer is the way one of the dickheads put it. Women scare to hell out of republicans and deep down inside they know their wives are voting Democrat because they are tired of being treated to the tired old hate that comes from the Republican base. For a party who has Ann Coulter as their only "female" spokesperson, can one expect anything else.

    Listen, I know this isn't on point but I could use a little help. The weather in Miami today is supposed to be 81 degrees but when i'm in my pool, I feel like the air temperature is cooler than the water. I am only interested in answers from the mouth-breathers for the wacko right wing GOP party of hate because i understand they are very intellegent.Should I stay under the agua or get out of the pool?

    I like Oprah a lot. I think She's absolutely beautiful, especially at 200lbs! That said, I probably wouldn't agree with her on much of anything. I hate that she has so much politcal power because of her money but, this is America. That is how it works. To take that power away means to take the same power away from people like John Stossel. That is one more of the incentives to work hard, save and invest your money and become financially independent. It's not just about things and stuff, its about getting into the game of power. Entertainers have the right to free speech the same as the rest of us. The general population SHOULD BE smart enough to know the difference between entertainment and information, fact and opinion.

      The general population is, not SHOULD BE. That's the problem with those who think everyone who thinks differently is is too stupid to make that decision on their own. Why not rephrase your remarks to say; most people are smart enough to understand? disagree with Oprah about nearly everything? I can't say that because i don't know of anything she does or doesn't stand for. Oprah is just an entertainer to me .I know she's a great humanitarian but I don't need Oprah or Rushbo or Hannity or Morris or Carville or Obermann or Mathews or rove or ny of the others to do my thinking for me.

    This is a joke right? She, like everyone else who supported Obama, took a financial hit, big surprise. Seems all the un-bias media, and personalities, are still doing fine. What's the New York, Obama Times worth now?

    People like Oprah need to keep their mouth's shut when it comes to politics. People like her, and her show, not because of her views, and when she interjects her views, people get turned off, and watch something else.

    The biggest fool this year was Ellen, she went nuts on Palin about her gay marriage views, yet it was her buddy Obama who was responsible for the ban in California.

    PETA named Oprah Winfrey person of the year in 2008. She humanely used her celebrity to expose the cruel trauma, and suffering that canines are subjected to in puppy mills and the vicious mistreatment of calves, pigs, and chickens at factory farms and other meat industry sites.
