The unassuming, simple, calm and yet extremely effective way in which Pastor Adeboye delivers the message of the Lord is one of the reasons I personally like to listen to his messages. Additionally, I have attended several of the seminars and festivals organised by the church (as a matter of fact I was at the event described in the article) and can personally testify to the fact that God is present in the church, and the seemingly science/logic defying are the norms of the church.

Pastor E. A. Adeboye is father and mentor to many who are christians and non-christians all over the world. He is my mentor and am tailoring my life after him interms of Integrity, Holiness and Humility.

His life encourages me on a daily basis that God can turn a "No body" to somebody, if only we can yield to God's call. It may be your turn today, answer "YES" to the love of God.

What upsets me about Christianity is how some try to shove their religions down my throat. I know they mean well, I know they feel that soul-saving is of the utmost importance, but what they don't understand is what they are asking me to do.
How can I be expected to so easily turn my back on my current religion? What would you think of someone who would be so easily swayed into a different way of life? What would stop me from being just as easily lured into yet another?
I respect Christianity's need for understanding, but I would also like Christians to be a little more considerate.

What upset me that most are people who have no understanding of what God can truely do. This man aa a Pastor is revered by many mainstream ministers and pastors around the world. He has many members following him because of his humility. He submits to God not only with his words but also with his actions. For those of you who want miniimize the power of God understand this, in the bible God used ordinary people to carry out his commands. These ordinary people are now those in which we read about in the Bible. If God is God then why can't He still do this now through Daddy. Maybe a lack of knowledge has prevented you from seeing beyond what you think you know as opposed to what you actually know. This not a new movement. It is one that is growing and will continue to grow because we believe in God.

Hosea 4:6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Because you have rejected knowledge, I also will reject you from being priest for Me; Because you have forgotten the law of your God, I also will forget your children.

For those that do know or understand. Here is a Pastor that has been revered by other well know Pastors and ministers throughout the world. If you do not have a understanding of how God uses men or woman then you should check out some of the messages that he has delivered before making a judgement. In the bible God used man to deliver, heal and save. Why can't God God still use these methods today. The issue is that since most of you have not heard of or ever seen this man before this article you have a limited belief in God. The bible states that my people perish for a lack of knowledge.

For me the celebration of Pastor E.A Adeboye means well for Nigeria.... At least a few good men can still be found amongst us but looking at it spiritually, We should be careful not to celebrate the man above the person he serves. People should desist from comments derogatory to man as even the greatest critic here acknowledge the fact that he is a good man and also to those who from their comments have forgotten that the man remains mortal like all of us...remember that our God is a jealous God and we need a few good men like this around for some more years to come
