    Wyatt18,

I think you should get back on your meds. All of Barry Hussein Obama's actions are reactive not quite the same as a posteriori. I just love your choice of such soft and eloquent words. That makes you much more intelligent and respected (insert sarcasm here). Put simply: Barry Obama looks at what is popular and beneficial to his personal aspirations and then follows because he lacks principals, knowledge, experience and the leadership necessary to act first. What is right isn't always popular! Your sheep will see that over the next 4 years if Obama pursues all his said campaign objectives. Maybe Obama, the lawyer, can muscle more lenders into giving poverty stricken persons loans to live beyond their means (enter collapse of Fannie and Freddie and economy). After all, they know how to better manage a handout than a responsible person like me would. My bet, Barry will back off most his stances as he realized just how foolish and naive he was. You come over to my neighborhood and see how much your ???soft power??? gets you! My guess, you???ve never lead anything in your life and haven???t a clue what it takes to be successful. The world doesn???t bow to ???soft power??? rather laughs at it! I???ve been over seas to see just how ridiculous and weak they recognize our political correctness, soft power to be. Don???t get me wrong. I wish nothing other than reason, logic, and professionalism were necessary to resolve differences, but that just isn???t true. I also hope that Barry is successful, makes the right choices, and gives the responsible opportunities. I haven???t been in love with the Bush administration, but am not naïve enough to believe that all of the current problems were a result of that administration.

"Dead-enders still deny that global warming exists...". Wow, be careful, we all know the term is "climate change" now, especially on the heels of one of the coldest winters in 30 years. Climate change/global warming is a religion, not a science, and there is ample evidence on BOTH sides of the argument to agree to disagree to what level humans are or are not able to impact the atmosphere. It gets very tiring reading Time writers beat the drum of disaster and refusing to look into both sides of a very important story--they've already decided that the drama of the end of the world beats the truth for selling their drivel.

We all possess POWER - of sorts. Limited or unlimited : personal, familial, tribal, regional or global. However, it is the "exercize of power" that really matters. Used to pursue personal aggrandisement : or to eliminate those who are in disagreement or to be of assistance to those that need help. There is no doubt that the emergence of a free Internet will empower many who once just got byalowing themselves to remain brain-washed. The analogy of the majority of humanity being considered common and garden un-thinking "sheep" who need a "shepherd" is now being overturned. Particularly as far too many "shepherds" have turned out to be no more than wolves in sheep's attire. The silent majority decidedly needs to become articulate to make it's concerns known loud and clear without fear or favour. Have you noticed that Obama's ears are large. He listens. His actions have been a posteriori, rather than a priori. The essence of democracy is for the leadership to possess the courage and confidence to be able to realize the importance of alternative opinions. The extremely complex dangerspots long existing in the Middle East and in Central and South Asia are crying to be handled with soft power - and for as long as it takes to attain resolution

The majority of history has been written by people who were unknown before their moment. How many of us were familiar with bin???Laden before 9/11? Did anyone know who Saddam Hussein was before he invaded Kuwait? How many of us knew what ???paparazzi??? meant before Princess Diana? The most person most likely to change the world is probably not on this silly list.
