Does this idiot actually get paid to produce this drivel? What a buffoon, but, not untypical of what the Press has become. Pathetic.

This article is another example of a small issue serving to make the writer smug and known while the US has so many more important concerns to focus on. With the US and world economy in shambles, wars on two fronts, a disgraced regime leaving office, can we please not escalate a possible 'blue dress incident' (emphasis on possible) to the lead story? Especially in Illinois, which it seems is the native American word meaning 'land of plenty political corruption.'

Wow. Now that the shoe is on the other foot the hypocritical Democrat sheep see Isikoff as an enemy when he does his job. How pathetic. How sad. Irrationally defending THE GLORIOUS LEADER always attacking THE HATED ENEMY!! How will we ever clean up the mess.

To ultimate faace: I had to have my butt retared because it was leaking on rainy days

Government should put this on a back burner, and focus 100% on the economic, put people back to work, help same their homes. The focus should be on the people who put them in office, the one's who are sturggling to pay there bills. Blagojevich should step down with out question, this is a distraction and in the crisis we are in, people don't want to hear about him, because there will always be corrupt politican who will abandon their compassion for their own self-interest, find a provisions in the Illinois??? Constitution force him out, let move forward with helping the people who need's help.

Now you reporters are asking for answers! All during the campaign the press treated mr. obama as the second coming of the christ! He did not have to answer any hard questions nor did he have to explain what he ment by "change".

  • Posted By: annnort @ 12/20/2008 7:18:39 PM

Do not expect Obama to answer these questions. He has sealed all his personal records so the public has no access to what kind of person he is. If you believed him when he said he would have a "transparent" administration, I have a bridge I would like to sell you. Seriously, why did you not ask him questions BEFORE the election?

Do you honestly think that if there were anything, and I do mean ANYTHING, that Obama had to hid, people like you (and by that I mean e.g. Limbaugh, O'Reilly, Right wingnuts) would't be on mainstream media outlets showing their proof? Sorry, he wasn't a former alcoholic. He didn't pay for his girlfriend's abortion. He isn't a former coke head. He didn't ruin every business he ever ran. THAT would be YOUR guy.

this guy can"t be for real, can he? get a life

  • Posted By: chimeralives @ 12/20/2008 8:49:25 PM

If Obama has any of the finesse of Bill Clinton, he'll ask you to define the word "define".

  • Posted By: gman123 @ 12/20/2008 8:49:16 PM

Now you reporters are demanding answers! All during the campaign the press treated Mr. President elect as a second coming of the christ. He did not have to answer any hard questions, nor did he had to be specific about promise of "Change".

  • Posted By: aldeer1 @ 12/20/2008 8:49:03 PM

this dud is cooked, turn him over please!

  • Posted By: proton58 @ 12/20/2008 8:48:52 PM

Isikoff, you pathetic loser. Where were you when Bush was invading Iraq? Where were you when Bush started torturing and killing innocent people in Cuba, Abhu Graib, and all the secret CIA prisons worldwide? Where the hell have you been, you pathetic lily livered chump? Get back under your rock.

Mr Isikoff used to be a bona fide investigative journalist before the Clintons neutered him-Michael's sudden interest in asking tough questions to a President elect that he failed to seriously vette during the primary and general election - when his skills were really invaluable- may portend a reawakening of Michael's journalistic integrity. Bravo on these questions- but lets see what he does in asking tough questions of the Secretary of State designate and her Attorney General designate protege. Hillary refuses to admit or correct her 2006 FEC report failis to disclose who her biggest donor was in 2000, and falsely attributes more than $700,000 as being paid to rather than received by her donor's companies.Mr Holder and Mrs Clinton have yet to answer to credible allegations that Denise Rich offered mutual friends with the Clintons a chance to participate in a $250million fund created by her husband Marc to entice Bill to pardon him and his partner before he left office. let's see if Michael ends up in the tank again for Hillary and her henchman - the new Attorney Gnereal!

Obama has the money to buy any Senate seat in the US. Why do we think Blogojevich did not ask Obama for money to
appoint candidate #1. If I was Blogjevich I would trade jail time for testimony against anyone in the employ of President elect Obama. The King has no cloths and we are all not willing to find out.

    • Posted By: dharma555 @ 12/20/2008 8:47:59 PM

You're mistaken. Obama was elected. Bush was appointed. I'd say that makes him King. He certainly behaved that way.

This one goes out to mintzworks:
Get over Bush, he has 30 days!
    Your guy was never vetted.
Michael Isikoff is having trouble sleeping at night.
He and John Meacham are also a little concerned about their future employment.
    Better late than never!

  • Posted By: Truth seeker 2009 @ 12/20/2008 8:46:14 PM

Why they should leave Fitzgerald alone.
If Blagojevich was a republican was Fitzgerald doing the same thing?

  • Posted By: dharma555 @ 12/20/2008 8:45:01 PM

Are you kidding? THAT'S what you'd use your subpoena power for? Not Cheney and the Energy Commission? Not Bush and his REAL reasons for invading IRAQ? Not for any of the other myriad of abuses to the Constitution perpertrated by Bush & Co? This would be why we are in the mess we're in now. There was a time when journalists actually had brains. Now they just fiddle as Rome burns.

  • Posted By: jmanfred @ 12/20/2008 8:44:16 PM

    Hey Righty!
Call Limbaugh and discuss it with him. I'm sure he's got all the answers someone like you needs! BTW... While your fishing
for dead carp, why not subpoena Dick Cheney? Perhaps he can shed some light on what really happend on 9/11 and why?

    Arkay:
    They finally started asking questions?
We were bombarded with Will Ayers for months.
