Blogo: "Dear God, make me a bird so I can sing, sing, sing myself far away from here!"
[Expletive] you! He hasn't even taken office and you want an inquisition. Give me a break!
This has to be the stupest line of reasoning in a while. Where was this bozo when Bush & Cheney were running rampant in the middle East? Oh, I almost forgot - Isikoff is a neo-con. 'Nuff said
What a waste of space - even cyberspace.

Hey Mike, I wonder if you will fail as miserably to bring down Obama as you did Clinton. Remember that? Remember when you wasted 8 years of your life swinging and missing at Clinton. You are a disgrace.

You forgot the sixth one. Subpoena his birth certificate ...Duh!!
Maybe you MORONS could wait until he actually takes office until you start to smear the guy? I mean we all know you dimwits will be relentless with your attacks come January. But do you really need to start so soon? In case you haven't noticed --and I actually doubt you have-- America needs to band together in order to save itself. This PETTY garbage will only hurt us at a time when we need all the help we can get. Then again, I forgot who I am talking to.
Thank you for these questions. America deserves to know the answer to them. However, I doubt we will ever find the whole truth and nothing but the truth.
Dude you forgot to subpoena his birth certificate...Duh!!!
How about this question.
Will you produce your original birth certificate before you are sworn into office?
Or
Are you a natural born citizen of the USA and provide proof verifying that fact?
I don't think we will find out either before he's already in office and maybe not then either.
I guess we can all be thankful that, instead of having the power to subpoena a future President, the writer is just another narrative-driven hack.
We've got GOP operatives and naives screaming "liberal media!" as loud as they can and yet -
Where were you guys when Bush and Dick took advantage of American fears to run their own agendas? I guess that' wasn't juicy enough as far as political scandals go? Now you're going to hype this and parse till we drop, right? Let's check...
"Define 'inappropriate'..."
Yep. That's what we're doing all right, parsing till we drop. But I hear what you're saying: Who could really blame you guys? As one of you admitted recently:
"We in the media??? This is the best that we have to latch on. So we're going to ride this until the wheels fall off."
And somewhere the GOP operatives are laughing their assess off at how they managed to hoodwink the majority with their brilliant liberal media myth. There are two thing you guys love, and it's nothing liberal or conservative, it's (1) hype and (2) sounding important because you're a promoter of said hype. Your article demonstrates both quite well.
Isikoff has tough questions for Obama just like he did for Bill Clinton. Wonder why Isikoff gave George W. Bush a free ride for 8 years and never questioned anything.
investigative correspondent?? i think you're just a sean hannity wannabe
These 5 questions start on a wonderful note. I do believe that the internal reports should be released to the public, being fully aware that the paranoid among us will find conspiracies in anything, however, I understand the reluctance to do so. The rest of these questions, however, smack of good thoughts gone bad. It sounds like a conspiracy theory concocted without awareness of the vaguety of conversations as they really exist. If Obama got wind that Blagowhatever wanted something more than appreciation, who wouldn't have said something in response? If he'd jumped straight into whistleblowing (especially considering investigations were already underway and Fitzpatrick himself said Obama is in the clear), he would have come off as looking amateur and foolish. So, as one question to you, Mr. Isikoff, what would you have done if you were in Obama's shoes?
Remember when the Valerie Plame scandal broke. The staff of the president was called upon to answer questions that could have proven very embarrassing and potentially criminal. Luckily, Bush established a broad authority of exemption not just for the president but for the staff of the president. It didn't seem that neo-cons had a problem with this then but now, since a liberal is in office, the rule isn't fair. It is a shame that Obama is going to invoke this but it is just as shameful that when Bush established this, no one really questioned or pressed the issue. Precedent has been set.

Gov. Rod Blagojevich has thrown down the gauntlet. Speaking to reporters from the site of the Republic Windows sit-down strike, the governor said the state would suspend any business dealings with the Bank of America until it extended credit to the shuttered company. According to :
We have contacted all of our agencies across state government and as of right now, every agency has been ordered to suspend doing any business with the Bank of America. The Bank of America received $25 billion in taxpayer money as part of the financial bailout. This is exactly, precisely the kind of thing that isn???t right -- when one the one hand, powerful special interests get the help of taxpayer money to bail them out -- the banks -- and yet the purpose of that money was supposed to be to provide a line of credit to businesses like this to keep workers working and keep people employed. And yet the Bank of America has yet to step up and say that they are going to be helpful to this company and keep these workers working. So unless and until they do that, we the state of Illinois will suspend doing any business with the Bank of America and we hope that this kind of leverage and pressure will encourage the Bank of America to do the right thing for this business, take some of that federal tax money that they received, and invest it by providing the necessary credit to this company so these workers can keep their jobs.
Check back later in the day for more updates.
UPDATE: According to , state officials will also will ask for a federal court injunction tomorrow to ensure that the Republic Window employees receive the benefits they are owed under federal law.
COINCIDENTALLY (or was it really?), WITHIN 48 HOURS THE FBI SHOWED UP AND OL' ROD WAS ON HIS WAY TO PRISON. Just in time to save B of A from losing all those Illinois $$$. What a coincidence!
Blagojevich is going away for a long time over a few mil while the big time crooks make off with $25 billion.
