Let's get something clear. At this point there is no evidence whatsoever that Obama or any member of his staff did anything inappropriate in connection with the Blaogjevitch case. This entire issue consists of the malicious speculation of an irresponsible press.
The purpose of this article is obviously to make it impossible for the Obama organization to close this issue. They have promised to present the report next week and rumors are it will completely exonerate responsible members of his organization from wrongdoing.
So Mr Isikoff raises the bar. Has any president in history provide the amount of detail he is requesting on any issue whatsoever.

I wish you would have pursued our current Presidents alcohol and drug abuse problems with the same tenacity.

People, Obama won let it go.

Mr. Isikoff, you are a shame to the real ideals of what the media should be. As commented already, where have you been as Bush, Cheney et al have done far worse and committed real crimes against the citizens of this country, as they still get away with criminal activities daily, including Cheney admitting torture. WHERE ARE YOU ON THAT SIR! You are silent on real issues that need to be dealt with and you should be ashamed of yourself.

By the way, Rahm Emmanuel has been cleared on tape of any involvement in this http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2008/12/21/obama-report-on-blagojevi_n_152664.html

Despite Obama having noting to really do with the Governor's mess, Republicans and their minions (Isikof and the like) are trying to make him a part of this mess. They need to get over his election. If they try to hold up his plans, like they did in the Detroit bailout, they ill be completely voted out of office. If they can't support him, they need to get out of the way and let him do the job, the American peple elected him to do.

Mr Isikoff you are an amazing republican hack, and Obama should not and WILL NOT ALLOW FITZGERALD TO STAY ON. The gig is up, every single US attorney WILL be replaced including Ftzgerald and if you Mr. Isikoff don't like it, YOU CAN GO TO HELL!!

Excuse me, but where was the "outrage" when Bush was hired to the same job eight years ago? Now The One, Obama, equals Churchill? Pathetic. Back in 2000 all you could scream about was a "hanging chad", the "Messiah" of yours has serious issues, and did before you elected him to do his "big job". Perhaps next time, ask your own questions BEFORE pulling the lever, maybe you won't end up having to defend what may end up being indefensible.

i am truly repeating myself. The ball has been pitched. Like it or niot Obama is the president. Like it or not, we may see double-digit bankruptcy rates in the coming year, unless we pull together and make some serious adjustments. If that happens, well i hope u don't live in the north, cus you'll be burnimg furniture next winter to stay warm (like they did in Argentina in 98). It's time to get with the project, if you want to survive. It dont matter if u like him or not. Obama is our new president an he will be the guy in charge. Deal with it.

Isikoff at best is a moron. If he needs a definition of inappropriate then he should not be a reporter. Jarrett clearly stopped talking with Blago about the senate seat because she did not want to be involved with anything that was inappropriate. Oh, sorry I didn't mean to use a word that Mr. Isikoff wouldn't understand. This is really a sad report and thank God that the power of a subpoena is not wasted on someone like him.

And if the British had hung Churchill out to dry, we might all be speaking German today. I've been on this forum for twelve hours and i'm starting to repeat myself. We hired Obama to do a big job. Maybe an impossible job. For God's sake, let the man do his work!

And can we really believe any answer we might get from anyone in response to your questions? Given that you actually had subpoena power, a response is forced. How thin would you make the tightrope? All of these folks are made of non-stick materials. Eventually, the media will become the only true justice system. It's not quite there, yet.

Pretty pathetic, Micheal. You are way out of your intellectual depth. Stick to being "a lowly investigative correspondent" and remember, the higher a money climbs the more you see his ass.

Michael - sorry to burst your delusions of grandeur, but you don't have subpoena power.

You are a reporter. Try reporting.

a caveat on free sex for married people - if that is not feasible then the price should be regulated.

a caveat on the issue of invading countries - only if they are in the axixs of evil.

  • Posted By: barnsey @ 12/21/2008 4:23:31 AM

Just tell Isikoff that i've had no dealings with Blagojevich, and that i firmly believe in polluting the air by burning the oil we purchase from our Saudi friends. I think we need to support big business, and allow CEOs as well as movie/sports/music celebrities to earn millions of dollars, while the economy crumbles around us. And of course politicians, as well. It's the American dream. I believe in free sex for married people. I think downloading is a sin. We should invade as many countries as we can. Vote for me!

  • Posted By: barnsey @ 12/21/2008 4:10:50 AM

Listen - if u guys dont like Obama, maybe i'll give it a go. Barnsey for president! (I could use the pay raise.)

  • Posted By: Lee Holmes @ 12/21/2008 4:03:39 AM

There is hope for you yet Mike...maybe.

  • Posted By: barnsey @ 12/21/2008 3:25:05 AM

And like i said before - Obama is prolly just another poser. And he'll prolly wind up behaving like all the political posers that came before. But the ball has been pitched and we have to hope for the best, dont we?
