Today's challenge: Let???s be realistic and honest, if the real goal is to have peace in the Middle East, then don???t focus on having Hamas and Israel negotiate a settlement based on their ability to compromise, which has proven to be impossible, but rather put equal and realistic pressure on them to accept equitable terms. Put politics aside and negotiate with the Arab countries, especially Syria and Iran, to stop supporting and backing Hamas unless they accept the terms of a cessation of hostilities with the agreement that we will do the same with Israel. Then offer both of them support in making a true and lasting peace work, with the quiet threat that if they don???t honestly and diligently work at it, they will be cut off. End of conflict! Maybe we need to admit that Israel really wasn???t anyone???s property to be given away in the first place but they also have to recognize that it is too late to be reversed and now it is necessary to just accept reality and come to agreements that are literally best for everyone; which likely should include a beneficial cooperation that advances each party. Simply stated, get the politics out of it and concentrate on the reality, realizing that if they could become interdependent, then the problem would be solved.

Alot of sturm und drang going on here over Joe.

To begin with,HARLEY makes precisely the same case as fascists do in avowing that the State may break laws in order to expose political enemies using the expedient defense of doing such illegal acts for ''Country''. Make no mistake. The Ohio state AGs office is rooting out and subjecting to prosecution state employees from no fewer than three agencies who were involved in a crime, actions illegal under state statute. A lawsuit against those involved is being pursued. Pass to Joe,and he continues to be the gift that keeps giving, and stubbornly will not go gently into that good night,as evidenced by his interview three days ago on CNN where he nailed them for being ''biased''. CNN anchor John Roberts [who was the one ,when interviewing Democrat strategist Paul Begala during the campaign, asked what ''WE needed to do to stop the Republicans''], showed outrage at being called such and Joe, before millions of viewers, laughed in Roberts face. Fade to black.

Interesting updates, especially those concerning "Crazy McCain Lady". I thought it was McCain's finest campaign moment when he told her no and took the microphone from her. If only he had displayed that class when his VP and staff were disgracing him with their wacky comments.

      TO: Cazador,

Ditto that. The "Crazy McCain Lady" was McCain's finest moment and for several different reasons. I have followed McCain's political career for some time now, and that moment took me back to his successful 2000 New Hampshire run. He was authentic, spontaneous, and honorable. I also enjoyed the look McCain gives when he is puzzled by an action or statement of another, as with the crazy lady. It is the look of a person struggling not to lose control and respond in a regrettable way, but to find a way to contain him self to deliver a politically correct response. That look is best done by John McCain.

Kinda reminds me of a President that told us something about not having relations with some woman.

You forgot one NEWSWEAK.[how is it that I must be the one to do their jobs?].

The AP reports today that the woman that illegally released the records on ''Joe the Plumber'',a registered Democrat and Obama supporter, Ms Helen Jones-Kelley has now resigned her position as the states[ Ohio] family and welfare services head.[for leaking to idiots like NEWSWEAK the fact that Joe owes taxes and that he is an unlicenced plumber]. A state AGs investigation into the leak continues. A lawsuit against the state by Joe that was filed last month should handle the back taxes problem, with interest.

Good ol' Joe. He finds opportunity everywhere...

I would do the same if someone went into and released everything they could find on me in an attempt to smear me for no other reason than because you asked a question.

An opportunity that Joe would not have had to take advantage of if Ohio state officials had not broken the law.

What about the crazy lady at the Democratic rules committee meeting who called Obama "an inadequate black man?" I'd love to know what's up with her.
