It should be obvious to all that we are hurting and killing ourselves, however, what will it take to change directions? Only if we are willing to face and accept the truth that Jesus died to save us from sin. And how is the government going to save anyone when the government is a body made up of human individuals who are just as prone to making bad decisions as anyone else. The evidence is all around. Was this question to get to the heart of what troubles the human life in existence or some other motive?

Wow!! I can't believe that someone actually spent a ton of time and $$$ to state the OBVIOUS. Of course, our decisions kill us. Even if it is the decision to walk into a convience store at the moment it is being robbed by a gun toting crack-head. Or to postpone the yearly check up a few weeks. Newsweek is WEAK.

    When does it all stop.
If people are that stupid that they need big goverment to slap a Big Mac out there hands what comes next.
When can we all go back to the time when you did something stupid you took the blame for your own actions.
Everything that you do wrong I this day and age can always be blamed on someone or another because you are the victim , or you suffer from an addiction. or the lack of a warning label telling you to turn off the lawn mower before attempting to change the blade.
We all have a choice in what we do in life and we alone should be the ones to handle the consequences of are actions.

The Government has our best interests at heart. My god the media in this country is a joke.

To answer the question in the title, "Nothing!" The media has been repleat with reports from multiple health and medical sources about the consequences of unhealthy living. If people still wish to chose to live an unhealthy lifestyle, then let them deal with the consequences, even if one of those consequences is an early death. They made their choices.
