They have a human right to defend thier land as it was never the Palestinians in the first place. The Jews, by the way josh123, have bought weapons from the U.S., supplying th U.S. with money and a firmer friendship, allow our troops and air force to travel through their land and air space, and are closely tied in with America on many other bridges. That's what they have done.

Mr Miller if you are an advisor to any of our countries government administrations then you should be fired and then re-hired for the Arab nations you promote. Brokering peace with who exactly? There is the Hamas in Gaza, and the Fatach and the Muslim brotherhood and so many other extremist groups.
They all gain popular support by fighting Israel and that is the only thing that unites them.

The Palestinian society is fragmented because before 1967- some of them lived in Jordan and some in Egypt (like their famous leader- Yaaser Arafat who was born and grew up in Egypt and chose a career in terrorism that won him fame...) and some are immigrants from other Arab countries in the region.

You can negotiate with one group and then another will rise- promising death to Israel and America.

I don't know call me nieve, but trying to solve an age old dispute will never be accomplished so what to do? Even if you gather all the fact as to who did what first it still doesn't erase the fact that extreme Muslims hate Jews and anyone who supports their religious ideals and that would be us Americans. Muslims have expressed this openly and proudly all over the world, everyone knows that. Everyone knows that Muslim extremist, that would include Hamas and it's Palestine followers they have used children and their women as martyrs for their cause. Everyone knows that Muslim extremist are not only a handfull of threating individuals but entire cities and large populations which makes them extremely threating. America also can't forget how Muslim extremist cheered in Palestine over the destruction of America not the Jews. Why do Muslim extremist hate us you ask, not because of land but because of Allah. So if anyone thinks that peaceful negotiations or siezed land from Israel is going to solve the problem doesn't really believe in their true intentions even as they announce it publicly. Nothing will ever change that. America needs to realize who their enemies are. It's a matter of trust and who should America trust, the answer is obvious. Yes I sympathize with the innocent lives lost in Palestine, but when will they take resposibility for not protecting their citizens including their children and why should I trust when they say that Israel sensessly committed these crimes, they're not a trust worthy group of people, I am referring to the extremist, before anyone corrects me, not the decent people of Palestine!! And last times I checked Hamas is a Muslim Extremist group, so why should I trust them? Yes, Israel is not perfect but they've never shouted destruction over America or anyone who didn't believe like them. America must and should support them. When Israel wanted to withdraw from Gaza the authorities evacuated all the Jewish residents from all their cities, towns and settlement, so what is the problem with some jews living with their families near their historic and religious landmarks?

If Israel would like to withdraw from more territories - it can be done, so why are the settlements such a problem?
