So what would you call the Israeli army who blows innocent civillains doors off , storms in and starts shooting anything and everything in their scope. Oh I get it it is okay cause they are making everyone else safe by blowing up these people who have nothing to hide, their homes and or killing them. The Palestinians selected Hamas cause they felt they needed hard liners who would be able to stand up against the oppression they have to face every day of their miserable lives. I don't think they are after destroying MOther Israel, I think they are tired of their lands being taken from them and their people being killed off so as to make way for the incoming settlers. I have many jewish friends and they are also against it and many are not afraid to speak out against the occupation. offcourse these dumb readers will think they are anti semite but they simply stand for all that is true and good in life. The palestinians deserve their lands back. It is their right to have it back and so Israel should give what is rightfully theirs back and stay the hell away from them.

It is a matter of establish, indisputable fact that Israel is in violation of more UN resolutions than any other country. Under International law, resistance to occupation is perfectly legal. There is no possible way of contruing what the Palestinian resistance is doing as criminal or what the Israeli occupation forces as doing as legitimate. There are no "two sides" to the issue, there is no moral ambiguity. This conflict began when Illegal immigrants from Europe came to the Holy Land as armed squatters, and started forcing the local Christian&Muslim pop. out of their homes. When the locals tried to get organized and fight back, the intruders took even more land. This has been the cycle of violence for a century, and it still is.

Israel surrendered Gaza yet Hamas rocket attacks continued. Hamas onliterates any distinction beween so called milirtary and civilians. You tell the difference when you see a "civilian" has shot you. That world's brutailty far exceeds any action of Israel, in its quest for no more than peace. Either Aaron Miller is unsympathetic to Israeli problems in the area or anti-intelligent.

What do you think the USA would do if Hamas were launching rockets into the USA from Tijuana? Our military would be doing the same thing Israel is doing. An rightfully so!

A. israel needs to give back ALL occupied territories gained since their inception in 1948.
B. Arab leaders need to understand any transgression aginst Israel, after Israel leaves the occupied teriitories, will be dealt with harshly. The US and Israel will take the gloves off. Hilary Clinton can reapet "we will annihilate you".
C. Problem solved - either you end up with lasting peace, or, the surronding Arab countries are demolished.

National interest demands only that arab presence in Israel be dismantled and that the so-called Palestinians (workers who came to Israel after the Israelis re-invigorated the centuries-dormant land) be absorbed by their billion loving brethren who have vast tracts of unused land and greater riches than Israel aspires to.

All the blather about what Israel's responsibilitied are only shows the haters of America that indeed the big lie is effective, and that the more they demand the more they will get though it is isn't warranted in the least.

Why do Jews pose everything as life or death. Things definetly are not like that for Israelis. It is for Palestinians, that have to food, no economy, no incomes, no infrastructure, nothing to live on. If people were tolarant and fair, things would not get at this point.

Mr. Miller, do you think your reading public is stupid? For starters your very first sentence starts out labeling Jews as "worriers" That is so biased and if they worry they've had good cause to....-try to understand not only their tragic history but the great message that has been given to them to keep the commandments of God!! Do you think God would put up with all the rockets from Hammas? No-its a grave misunderstanding that to be humanitarian is to keep on forgiving the wrongs of civilizations -how naive!!! If you beleive in the Bible you will recall that God issued orders to wipe out those civilizations who did not live his commandments Men, Women and Children!
