If Obama Is Serious

Where is the UN in all this! What is the point of their existence, if not for this kind of thing? Why is this our problem? War stinks, but it happens all over the world, all the time. How do we pick and choose who we are going to "parent"? Jews and Arabs have been trying to kill each other FOREVER. Personally I have an extreme distaste for people being used as bombs- something not done by Israel. There will not ever be peace as long as Arabs are against the Jew's right to exist.

The Chosen people is a comment that originates from the 11th century and is repeated by non-Jews much much more than Jews. So keep that in mind. We don't think we're better. Moreover, "chosen" is not necessarily a good thing. It means to be the keeper of the Torah, and to follow the innumerable teachings of the Talmud and such. It means to bear responsibilities that others do not have to bear. Though I acknowledge there's obviously disgreement on the existance of heaven at all, for those who do believe it is accepted that to get into heaven under the Jewish faith is easy- if you're not a Jew. You just have to be a good person. If you're "chosen" as a Jew you have to have lived according to Torah. So Nvantas, you may back Israel, but you've got some anti-Semitic tendencies to examine.

Are you kidding me? Obama should get tough with Israel? Look, Israel is surrounded by Arab countries that hate Jews. When people refuse to accept or recognize Israel as a state or country- that is where you have a problem. Palestinians refuse to accept Israel or Jews. They throw rocks they claim because they don't have proper weapons. They teach their children to be martyrs and rock throwers. Brainwashing. Europe killed most of us and as Europe is allowing Muslim immigrants to dictate anti-Israel belief- then we are not safe there either.
I truly don't think that Israelis are walking around saying that they want to purposely kill or harm Palestinian civilians. I do think that Hamas and Hezbollah terrorist groups are threatening everyone and these "leaders" hide in civilian areas. During a three hour peace truce; Hamas continued sending rockets into Israel. Why was that not reported on as much as the suffering of the Palestinians. Jewish people deserve to have their own homeland. There is enough desert for the Palestinians who refuse to want to live in peace.
Let's clarify something about the religion as well. Judaism is the base for monotheistic religion. Then came along Christianity and Islam. Islam believes that Abraham is the father of their religion, as he was for Judaism. We are so alike in many ways; but Jews don't state that Palestinians don't exist, nor will we put up with Holocaust denying.
Jews were forced to leave Arab lands because these Arab countrie because radical Islamists, which apparently have no room for other religions. Israel cannot wait for the biased UN to dictate what it should do. We are the chosen people, from which mainly all today descend. If you believe that a woman is as good as furniture and your children can be innocent martyrs; then quite frankly why bother with your life at all? If we had done what Hashem asked us to when we came to our land of Canaan (which was to obliterate everyone there)- perhaps we wouldn't be dealing with this?

I do not hate Arabs. I do not hate Palestinians. I hate the fact taht there are people terrorizing my people instead of working towards a solution. Let Americans not forget that most in Arab lands are not American friendly. The latter being due to the idea that westernization is evil. Mark ym words- I see the signs of another holocaust for Jews. W ehave been made a scapegoat again. I will not sit idly and wait for people to try and destroy us once again. It is time to decide that both groups exist and what can we do about it?

The history of the regional hostility toward Israel goes back farther than last week Mr Miller. The real issue is that the nations surrounding Isreal want her to become extinct along with her people. If you are naive enough to believe that the arab nationswill accept any other solution than Isreals destruction than you belong to that great body of chumps that are being played by the Hamas propaganda machine. Do you think that Isreal would make war on her neighbors if she were merely left alone?

Israel is the size of New Jersey. Can you imagine what would happen if New York and the other states were always picking on New Jersey? It'd HAVE to defend itself. Are we forgetting that Gaza fired rockets BEFORE Israel attacked? Israel is just smart enough to protect itself against bullies. Jewish people have always been picked on. This is no exception. Let Israel and Jews alone and they won't attack. Duh. And I'm NOT Jewish, btw.

How many months has Hamas shot rockets at Southern Israel? Isn't it like some 18 months now? What country in their right mind would put up with such terrorist attacks? And yet we expect Israel to? Hamas needs to be wiped off the map and I hope Israel does it before Obama muddles the water. Israel just wants to be left alone but they are attacked by terrorist almost daily. If you think a peace treaty would have stopped the terrorism wouldn't Israel have done something about it? Unfortunately they are fighting an enemy that doesn't want peace, their enemies have always wanted them exterminated. Why do you think we gave them their own country again? Everyone just needs to leave this peaceful people alone and let them live their lives. We need to support them when they try to protect themselves from the thugs.

Well Palestinians can answer that question. You see, Israel has been bombing them where ever they live since 1948! Palestinians have been bombed by Israel in the West Bank, in Gaza, in Palestinian Refugee Camps in Lebanon, in Palestinian Refugee Camps in Iraq, in Palestinian Refugee Camps in Jordan, in Palestinian Refugee Camps in Egypt, etc. The Palestinians have seen their homes destroyed, their land confiscated, their Fathers die, their Mothers die, and their Children die. CHILDREN! Just because they are Palestinian doesn't make them less human!!!!!

Palestinians know how to answer your question. The answer: defend themselves!

Oh I forgot, everyone in the world gets to defend themselves, their families, their homes, their land, and their children. Everyone except the Palestinians. Everyone Except The Palestinians. What a shame...

The average Israeli Arab has enjoyed freedom and prosperity the likes of which are unknown to similarly-situated common people in the surrounding Arab nations. Not to say there isn't discrimination and Israel doesn't have its problems, it does, but it's faring about as well as Europe in that regard, which is a tremendous accomplishment given the history. It is the common purpose of democracy and individual liberty that ties us to Israel.

Pride is considered the Devil's favorite sin and it is pride alone that makes any American President think that he / she can help or solve the problems that abound Israel and the surrounding Arab Nations. That fight has been going on since before recorded history. What makes any President think he can help in four to eight years?

We???ve got serious (solvable) domestic issues that should take priority.
