I agree with this article. To maintain credibility US must not be seen to side with Israel in this massacre of civilians, children & women.

I can understand the Jewish desire for a safe place to live given the evil exercised upon them by Europeans. I know that Islam is a violent religion as is Judaism, but unlike Judaism, Islam believes in killing nonbelievers, taxing them unequally, and has done enormous crimes by following Mohammed for a thousand years. Hence the African slave trade and the ruination of India, Buddhists, Hindus, and others. However, it is time to cut all ties with Palestinians and this means NO more settlements and the dismantling of ALL settlements in Gaza and the West Bank. Separate but equal does not work, let alone separate and unequal. The hypocrisy of Muslims in wallowing in oil wealth while letting Palestinians suffer, regardless of cause, is disgusting. Nonetheless, to avoid the two state solution is suicidal. Once states are separate, you can choose not to do business with them if you wish. Time to separate. No more games. Obama must hold Israel, for its own survival, to total separation. It is not only the Israelis who have this problem with Islam. From a thousand years of murderous abuse under Islam, all India knows what the Israelis have to contend with. But separate or there will be no peace with them. If after separation they continue with rockets, fight.

I think that you and every body else in the world needs to realize that the Jewish people have had enough of the world treating them like secon class citizens. How is it that Israel is the only nation in the worls that is not permitted to serve on the UN security council? How is it that 57 Islamic nations (with over 2 billion population) around the world are so threatened and angery at 1 jewish nation with only about 6 millionpeople? Ara the moslems around the world seriously that stupid to think that someday (even if we have a prior moslem in the white house) Israel might actually fold and they can steal our lan again?
I for one will rally behind Israel and I think the Jewish world will not sit around like sheep over sixty years ago and be slaughtered the way the world (including Vatican) did. We will rally and be victorious in the face of Evil (the nations of Islam) even if it means sacrificing our own lives.
It is amazing to me that the world is so qiuck to condemn the Jews for standing up and not taking *** from gentiles any more. After all can anybody account for any record in history of mankind where Jews acted as badly as the way moslems or Christians for that matter acted?

hamas is the bad guy. as soon as its all quiet in in gaza they launch rockets and start trouble. like bad children with no form of self restraint and the parents(aka plalestinian majority that hopefully wants peace) have no control over them. what would you do if your neighbors children kept causing trouble, setting your trash can on fire, throwing rocks through your windows and their parents either refuse or ignore the issue. that forces your hand to put an end to it. to be honest, this is a long overdue spanking for the palestinian minority that only want to cause trouble. the only shame is that whole population pays for the mistakes of a few but that is only because they themselves turn a blind eye to the launching of rockets, to the tossing of the stones :) in closing i'm not racist, i love everyone but you have to take responsibility for your own actions or lack there of

The most foolish and ignorant people in this discission board are the one whos talking about god and religion. Just remember every religion in the world uses the word "belive" which means whatever is YOUR OWN belief. People in every religion believe that they are following the most correct religion and their god is "THE" onle and correct god. There is nothing wrong in believing your god but it is wrong to impose your belief on others and say that they are wrong and you are right. It is best for everybody to stick to their own god and belief but to respect others. Remember the word - "believe"? Yes, you can never force your belief on others because it is just a belief which you think is right. So, lets all think in terms of human first instead of putting on our religious caps (eg. Bible, Koran, Tora) and the world would be a peaceful place.

Here is a possible solution. Why not have all the israeli jews relocated to the United States. Since they are Gods chosen people it would not matter where they are they should still be visited by the long awaited massaih. Everybody wins.

My Opinion, The 3 Billion per year sent to Israel should go to the Poor here in America.

Can you imagine the impact of 3 Billion Directed to the Poor Classes here in America...

If the Government Streamlined the funds correctly, to ensure an End to Generational Poverty here in America..

Within 20 years we'd have a Major Decrease in Poverty and a Major Increase in Middle Class America !!

Israel is a Virtually a [Welfare State, a Welfare Country], by receiving 3 Billion Dollars per year, from U.S. Taxpayers when they are supposedly Self Sufficient, Independent and Prosperous and standing supposedly on their own to feet !!

How about giving some of those Billions back to the Poor U.S. Tax Payers..Hmmm

How come the world is not screaming when those Arab animals send suicide bombers into Israel to kill innocent people, when they are specifically targeting Jewish schools and day care centers, when they kill teenagers at the dancing clubs, innocent bystanders on the outings with their families in shopping malls and cafes, or people at weddings and religious ceremonies? Those arab animals do not deserve to live; all their cries for help are propaganda. They cannot and do not know how to live in peace and work. Jews came into a desert and created a beautiful country; when Arabs got a former Jewish settlement, they weren't even able to learn to live in it and use its infrastructure to their advantage, they just destroyed everything and started complaining again about their bad living conditions. Come on, get off your butts, put down weapons, stop killing, complaining, and begging, get a shove, and start working for your future like the rest of the world. Instead, they are training their own children to murder and then are hiding behind their backs. They deserve whatever they are getting. Let us not forget those famous words, "if arabs put down their weapons today, there will be no terrorism. If Jews put down their weapons, there will be no Israel."

We hope Obama has the kahunas to stand up to the Jewish lobby and threaten Israel with condemnation for it's loathsome acts and if need be cut off all aid. The aggression in Gaza like Lebanon was despicable and cannot be allowed to stand. Lobbying groups have held sway on our leadership far too long. Israeli actions are evidence they have no value for anyone else's life or property or freedom but their own. Their leadership sadly seem void of a conscience. Unlike Bush Obama I hope Obama has a heart, a moral compass and the kahunas to set these tyrants straight.

I quess if Iran fired a nuke into Israel and killed hundreds of people, would Newsweek stand up and speak out against Iran?

Obamee has better get tough with the democratic congress and get some out of their billa. As to Isreal, they as a nation have a right to defend themselves against enemies that want nothing more than to destroy Isreal. Why does'nt he get tough with those that are their that are their enemies?
