Every single day this past week, Israel has provided humanitarian aid to the Palestinians (food, medicine, gasoline, and other basic needs). On a regular basis, Palestinians get their electricity from the Israel ??? from the very power plant they bombed this past year. Israel is not waging war against the Palestinian people. Israel is trying to neutralize Hamas??? terrorist attacks. Hamas is exploiting the Palestinian people for its own needs. The Palestinians should thank Israel.
Israel has been forced by the International community to allow in food and medical supplies. This was largely down to the efforts of the French President. Despite letting in trucks of supplies it did not stop them from bombing a truck and killing the driver delivering the much needed supplies.

Everyone had a God given right to defend themselves! The 'balanced response' argument is BS! If you have a gun and someone is trying to stab you, you shoot the a-hole in the face. You don't drop the gun for a knife so you can have a 'balanced response'. Israel is in the same situation and should be able to respond with any amount of force they feel is necessary to protect themselves.

It seems these people are so worried that the voice of reason is winning, as is evidenced by most of the world's disgust at Israel's actions in Gaza for the past 13 days. So, now they call for banning opposing views here and exterminating Palestinians and/or Arabs and/or Muslims around the world.

We give them somuch financial aid and none of it has to be justify by them where it goes, which big part goes to military spending that is use to kill Palestinians. Read you history books and see where Arafat was welcomed with his young hoodlums. The Biritsh mandate did not create the Palestinians. There were just Arabs who happened to live in the British-controlled part of the fallen Turkish Empire. After Arafat has visited the Moscow leaders, where he was accepted with open arms, there suddenly came into existence the "nation of Palestine." Jordan was part of the same mandate, yet nobody asks that Jordan give up its territory to accomodate this "nation."

Our country is the only country powerful enough to force Israel to the negotiating table through the cutting of the Billions of dollars of financial aid we give Israel every year. If our Government really wanted to stop this war immediately it could do so very quickly.

Even if Iran has developed a nuclear bomb US intelligence suggest that they are several years from having the missile technology to deploy such a weapon.
Israel provoked this situation by its "siege??? of Gaza since the Hamas administration took power through a full air and sea blockade; they also had Egypt's help in implementing this. I hope that our New President takes a tougher stance with Israel and forces them to stop settlements in land that the UN has passed resolutions asking them to withdraw from; and if necessary forces an UN or other International force on the ground to prevent attacks from either side.

We are surrounded by water and we are still in danger from islamic extremist. Just imagine the USA sharing borders with North Korea, Irag, Iran and Russia. Lemondrops; If God allows such atrocities than it is a Jewish God. The one that I was brought with while I was a child was good, and compassionate. But, you are correct about the end for America, and maybe the whole world. Are you willing to die for Israel right to exist?. Not me. I am not a Jew neither an Israeli. Are the Palestinians a weak threat to Israel comparing to Iran strong threat?. Maybe Iran gets in the conflict, than Israel probably will be seen using proportional methods against a proportional Iran.
