Who said anything about bombing every country in middle east? I know Muslim terrorist would love to bomb America and it's allies, that's a fact, but not me, never said anything like that..And yes I do realize that not all of palestine are terrorist but those images of them cheering in the street by the masses at the destruction of America on 9/11 kinda let me know I wasn't exactly on their good list. I am not a hypocrite and I do know the difference between right and wrong and I also know who my friends are and who I can trust, and last time I checked I didn't see any Jews dancing with joy after 9/11. And I don't have a problem identifying what I believe is good and evil. I'll tell you what you worry about human rights for terrorist and I'll worry about saving my a.. at the next terrorist attack. And by the way when people speak against the middle east it is almost all the time against terrorist extremist and their followers who hate Jews, America and it's democracy, at least that is the way I see it for myself. So quit trying to make me out to be some kind of idiot.

Israel's "Operation Cast Lead" marks an escalation of Israel's two-year blockade of the Gaza Strip which has DEPRIVED 1.5 million Palestinians of necessary food, medicine, fuel and other necessities.

Extermination: Israel is allegedly using White Phosphorous Gas, an Illegal Chemical Weapon that Burns to the Bone. Dr. Mads Gilbert, a member of a Norwegian triage medical team working in Gaza, has documented Israel's use of Dense Inert Metal Explosive (DIME), which cuts its victims in to PIECES and reportedly causes CANCER in SURVIVORS. Gilbert, who has worked in several conflict zones, said the situation in Gaza is the worst he has ever seen.

Two United Nations schools have been hit by air strikes, killing at least 30 people. The New York Times reported on Monday that Gazan hospitals are full of civilians, not Hamas fighters.

Big Note: The targeting of civilians violates the Fourth Geneva Convention. Since the rockets fired from Gaza into Israel cannot distinguish between civilians and military targets, they are illegal.

But Israel's air and ground attack in Gaza violates Geneva in four ways.

First, it constitutes collective punishment of the entire population in Gaza for the acts of a few militants. Second, it targets civilians, as evidenced by the large numbers of civilian casualties.

Third, it is a disproportionate response to the rockets fired into Israel. Fourth, an occupying power has an obligation to ensure food and medical supplies to the occupied population; Israel's blockade has created a humanitarian crisis in Gaza.

Once the International Community has stripped Israel of the Right of Self Defense, how will the rest of us maintain a right to defend ourselves in the face of a constant stream of Muslim oppression?

We spend on average 1 Billion a DAY in IRAQ so 3 bil a year to Isreal is not so large, to protect an ally who is surrounded by religous fanatics who will not negotiate and only settle for their destruction. Both sides need to crave peace. Peace in the Mid-East has left everyone languishing in want way too long. Amounting hope has repeatedly been crushed at staggering cost. Expecting that somebody, be it a new US President or anybody else alone, would be able to force opponents to a lasting peace is an illusion. At best, a mediator can only help by functioning as a catalyst. The adversaries must be realistic and try to attain objectively an understanding for the needs of each other and agree on sharing the means and resources, which are at hand. And truly crave for peace! The projection of a foreign nation's strength, be it then the USA or not, alludes that dissatisfaction will linger on. Peace must be truly craved and maintained by all to last. Only then is it possible for external mediators to offer help and have realistic hope to succeed.

OBAMA can pressure Israel to stop it's practices. We believe in you OBAMA.

Also according to your logic we should "give" 3 billion to the poor in the USA every year. Because Isreal is a "welfair" state. Well, what do you think a welfair state is? Isnt giving our poor 3 bil a year Welfair also? If you said something intelligent like invest in projects in poor communities, education, etc you would have come out not sounding like a total moron.

It's truly a shame that no American politician can speak out against Israel for fear of being ostracized by the public. Yes, yes, Israel has the right to protect itself from terrorist attacks, but their latest offense into Gaza is nothing more than bullying. Since when is it okay for a country to kill more than 400 people - only one of whom was a top-level operative - while losing less than ten in its own territory? People are homeless and scared while Israel hits a U.N.-run school that should have been one of the few safety zones in Gaza. Obama needs to grow a pair and tell Israel to come down off its high horse and cool themselves down. Israel is only succeeding to make it more unsafe for its citizens. How do you kill that many people and launch such aggressive attacks without expecting Hamas to come out stronger in the end? All Israel will succesfully have done is inspire more Palestinians and Muslims from other countries to join the movement. I guarantee there will be more terrorists than Israel will even know how to deal with. Israel alone is responsible for making the Middle East unsafe. Speak out against the Israeli insolence, President-Elect Barack Obama!!!!!!!

I agree with the author of this story that the U.S. has got to stop it's blatant one-sided support of israel. The israelis are nothing more than well supplied thugs. How can we keep supporting a country that indiscriminately kills innocent people all in the name of security? Does security mean killing over 500 people and making 1.5 million more live in poverty? Does the firing of rockets into Israel, which have killed 1 person in a year, justify the killings of all of those innocent people? When i hear the Jews bemoaning their treatment under the Nazis nowadays I have zero sympathy for them because they are doing even worst things to their neighbors. I;m hoping that the new administration will not kowtow to the Jewish lobby in this country as past ones have and stop seeing everything through the eyes of the Israelis who are the real cause of the strife in the region. .
