PS. if this galwaan fellow's accusation is true, then the writer would have been atleast 22 years old in 1990, and thus about 41 years old today. Except the picture of the author does not show a 41 year old woman. it shows a woman who is about 30 or so. Which means the author would have been about 11-12 years old in 1990

wow. now the kashmiri muslims start concocting lies about the where the writer went to university and when to discredit her story. For all I know that phone number belongs to someone who is ready to tell the lie that this galwaan fellow has written.

And this majidmajidi immediately jumps in to validate the lie.

The funny thing is, Galwaan KNOWS he is lying. and he does it anyway, instead accusing the writer of lying. The hypocrisy of these people!

It seems some kashmiri muslims are only too willing to tell deliberate bare faced lies, such is their sense of honesty and honor.

"galwaan" has come up with another embarrassing, and shocking fact about Aarti???s lies spread through Newsweek. After a month, I came back to this forum, thinking the comments must have stopped by now, and the hate mail, too. But perhaps Aarti forgot: when you lie on Newsweek, you are caught. And so was Aarti. She twisted facts while narrating her motivated story, thinking that this might be accepted as truth. But then her lies had to face the occupied-truth from Kashmir -- the truth of Indian occupation. Aarti, you truth turned out to be a plain lie; ours is occupied by India. But then truth always wins. And occupation is bound to end.

why restrict it to 100 years? The claim has been made that Kashmir has no Indian heritage or history when it was infact a hindu territory till forced conversions to islam. The valley is littered with the ruins of hindu temples destroyed by muslims.

Free will, my foot. The only hindus in Kashmir who converted under their own free will were those who thought that converting would bring them privilege and power from the muslim rulers. All the others the forced conversions. The remaining few who did not convert were finally driven out of Kashmir by islamic terrorists.

W hen some forty hectares of useless and inhabitable forest land was given for temporary use to people engaged in the centuries-old Amarnath Yatra in Kashmir, the reaction of the jihadi-inspired Kashmiris was vulgar, ungracious, unbelievable and downright sickening. There were huge demonstrations in Srinagar. Charges were made that Hindu pilgrims will stay put permanently in the temporary tents set up for them and thereby disturb the demographic character of the area. This and many such white lies were openly propagated.

The Kashmir Muslims chose to forget how thousands of Kashmir Pundit families had been deprived of their homes and driven out of Kashmir, their own homeland, to live in utter poverty in Jammu and far away places. It didn't matter to the Muslims if over 10,000 forest trees were ruthlessly chopped down to make way for the Mughal Road or vast acres of land were left fallow. But helping Hindu pilgrims was another matter. And the effete UPA Government could do nothing.. An anarchical agitation began in Srinagar with the Mufti, the Hurriyat and Omar Abdullah uniting to deprive Hindu pilgrims some basic necessities.

It is hard to imagine a more uncivilised and barbaric behaviour. That the concept of Kashmir as the land of Shiva was a fact of life, long before Islam was even formulated, did not matter to the Sunni & Wahabi Muslims in the Valley. Hating Hindus was all. The point was further stressed that Kashmir was being treated unfairly by the Union Government, another major lie that stands exposed as the truth becomes known. The plain fact is that Jammu & Kashmir is being treated like a spoilt child, getting from the Union Government much more what than it deserves. As Prof. R. Vaidhyanathan, a distinguished economist recently exposed (External India, Oct.08) socio-economic and financial indicators reveal that J & K is one of the leading states in India belonging to top ten percentiles among them.

Forget the fact that Hindus constitute 32 percent of the State's population but have never had a Chief Minister. In many fields the Union Government has been more than fair to J & K which the Muslim population of the state has never had the decency to acknowledge. .....

The vast majority of the muslims in Kashmir are descendants of Hindus. This revisionism that Kashmir has not connection to Hindus and hindustan is laughable. Its really pathetic that muslims of Kashmir and Pakistan all are desperate to insist that their pre-islamic history is anything but Hindu. Funny that they don't mind the buddhist history of parts of Pakistan and Afghanista, even when their brothers in the taliban were destroying the priceless heritage of Buddhism at Bamyan.

Not to mention that Gautam Budha himself was born a Hindu, that he attained nirvana in Maghadha, which is in the heart of Modern day India, that India itself was the fountain from which buddhism spread to the rest of the world.

This is evidence of the self delusions of the pakistan and pakistani loyalist muslims of south asia, which is their conviction that India is a Hindu country only, only for Hindus, has never been anything except a Hindu country. When the reality is that India has always been a fluid mix of every eastern religion. Virtually all the muslims of south asia are descendants of people who were at some stage either hindus or buddhists or sikhs or jains,, or tribals.

This is exactly why India will not give Kashmir independence. Because India is a melting pot of every religion, has been for thousands of years, and it will not allow the pakistanis or the kashmiris to establish that there is no place for Muslims in India, that India is only for Hindus.

Kashmiris are welcome to live in India. If their hatred for india on the basis of their love for islam is so strong, then they should go to Pakistan.

Islam is not the binding force that islamic nationalists like to believe that it is. Punjabi muslims treated bengali muslims like untouchables. Indian muslims have no interest in the kashmiri muslims. the muslims of poonch rajouri have no sympathy with the muslims of Kashmir, the baluchis don't want to be part of Pakistan. Taleban aside, the afghans hate the pakistanis for the trouble the pakistanis have caused in Afghanistan. Iran and pakistan do not get along. and on and on it goes.

India similarly has disagreements between its communities, some of them turn shamefully violent, but in the end, India is still a country for all religions and all ethnicities, without prejudice. Muslims who want to live in India are welcome.

Muslims who hate India are not being kept in India by force. THey are free to leave India and move to Pakistan.

But Kashmir will remain in India.

The MCOCA court will debate the mammoth 4,000 page chargesheet submitted by the Anti-Terrorism Squad on Thursday. The chargesheet reveals radical intentions of creating a Hindu nation and extensive attempts by the saffron terror brigade to network with Israel and Nepal.
Suspended Army man Lt Col Prasad Purohit, Sadhvi Pragya Singh Thakur and Swami Dayanand Pandey are allegedly the key perpetrators of saffron terror. According to the Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) the transcripts of audio video recordings recovered from Dayanand Pandey???s laptop is evidence enough to prove that Purohit had already kicked off efforts to liaison with establishments in Nepal and Israel to set up a separate Hindu rashtra.
In a meeting which was attended by Dayanand Pandey alias Sudhakar Dwivedi, Delhi based Dr R P Singh, a Col Bappaditya Dhar, Himani Sawarkar and others, Purohit is seen and heard saying: ???I have contacted Israel and one of our captains has been to Israel. There has been a very positive response from their side. They have said show us something on the ground because we have just shown them everything on paper right now. They said wait and watch for six months.???
On behalf of the council of the right wing Hindu extremists, Purohit had even managed to clinch a couple of deals with his counterparts in Israel. The ATS transcripts show Purhit saying: ???We asked for four things - continuous and uninterrupted supply of equipmental training, secondly allow us to start our office with a saffron flag in Tel Aviv, number three political asylum and number four support our cause in the United Nations that Hindu nation is born.???
At one point Swami Dayanand Pandey is heard saying: ???I had told you that day that two people from Israel had come to us. They sat here and talked for a while and whatever it is they promised to cooperate first.???
The transcripts also speak of the group???s plan to seek help from ousted Nepal monarch King Gyanendra. In his conversations with the other accused Purohit explains: ???We must understand our requirement. I should tell you that we had a meeting fixed with King Gyanendra for June 24, 2006 and then again on February 13, 2007. We had fixed this meeting on the phone.
The transcripts also mentions of Queen Aishwarya???s interest in Hindu fundamentalism and her association with Purohit.
Swami Dayanand Pandey: ???Who is this queen????
Purohit: ???Gyanendra???s wife, the maharani. She is anyway attached to him. We have been in contact with her.???

I dont understand why you KP,s get stomach ache when we kashmiris demand independence from the illegal indian occupation. we dont want to be under hindu indian rule. we are a muslim country and we have history of 5000 years which is older than indian and pakistani history.

OBAMA is seen as hero in Kashmir, kashmiri youth are very happy with Obams and look forward that he will put pressure on india to leave its occupation on kashmir and implement the UN resultuions so that thre is peace in south asia.
Not only should india leave kashmir but other states who are fighting for freedom, like Nagaland, Assam, Punjab, Mizoram , Tamil Nadu.
Punjabis are asking for khalistan, tamils are asking for dravidanadu, north eastern states were free upto recently and are now undier indian occupation forcibly, Arunachal pradesh which is part of china are also struggling to free itself from india and merge with china
