"Malik is marrying a UK-born Pakistani Mushal Mullick, a post-graduate in Political Economy from London School of Economics. She is daughter of Rehana Hussain, chief of the Muslim League. Her father Dr M.A. Hussain was an internationally renowned Pakistani economist".

Why Yasin had to marry a pakistani girl .Did Kashmirii Muslims refuse to give their daughters in marriage to the terrorist Yasin?Does that make "State Subject " of yasin Null and Void?If not then Why? It happens in case a kashmiri woman marries a non resident .Why this double standard for Men ?

That is Kashmir marrying pakistan .......and still taking about KASHMIRIYAT .........PSUEDO-KASHMIRIS .These self proclaimed leaders of kashmir are getting lost in the sea of pakistan .Poor poor lost Kashmiris

Hindu Prostitution, Pimping and Holy Devdasi Temple Prostitution.

Hindu priests, the holy men of Hinduism require sex slaves for their ummm... needs. These upper caste Hindus known as brahmins happen to be the architects of caste system in India. As well as its upkeepers in this age. Instead of having sex with their wives, these 'holy men' rear penniless low caste Hindu women into 'holy prostitution' or the process of making them 'Devdasis'. The devdasis are owned by their brahmin priests and traded among them like cattle. They have no rights as wives or even as sexual partners. If they get pregnant, the child is never accepted by the brahmin father. They are never given any choice to leave the despicable occupation. Rather, they are reared as sex slaves of the Hindu religious class.

If Hindu "holy men" are capable of such barbarian abominations, what can you say about ordinary Hindus? An interesting point is that high caste Hindus such as these pimp-priests never touch or eat in the vessel of low caste "inferior" Hindus. Yet they have no issues in having sex with them!

What can non-Hindus expect if this is the status of Hindu girls in hinduism?

The Maoist militia is gradually posing to be a real threat to the authority of the State. It has already created a large number of liberated zones where Government jurisdiction is minimal. The police force stands demoralised and is confined to their stations for safety in Naxal-hit areas???.

The movement known as the ???Naxalites???, is named after the district of Naxalbari in West Bengal where they staged an uprising in 1967. They have these days almost become a nationwide force after having been wiped out in the 1970s, as the Indian government repressed them, and Maoism went out of fashion, even in its homeland of China. In India the Naxalites despite splintering into various armed factions, of which the biggest were the People's War Group and the Maoist Communist Centre continued with their struggle against feudalism, landlordism and casteism. Some of these factions merged and formed the CPI (Maoist) party in September 2004.

    AIDS IN INDIA
Previously it was thought that around 5 million people were living with HIV in India - more than in any other country. Better data, including the results of a national household survey, led to a major revision of the prevalence estimate in July 2007. It is now thought that around 2.4 million people in India are living with HIV.
India has a population of one billion, around half of whom are adults in the sexually active age group. The first AIDS case in India was detected in 1986; since then HIV infection has been reported in all states and union territories.

The spread of HIV in India has been diverse, with much of India having a low rate of infection and the epidemic being most extreme in the southern half of the country and in the far north-east. The highest HIV prevalence rates are found in Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka in the south; and Manipur, Mizoram and Nagaland in the north-east.1

Four southern states (Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu and Karnataka) account for around 63% of all people living with HIV in India.2
In the southern states, HIV is primarily spread through heterosexual contact, whereas infections are mainly found amongst injecting drug users and sex workers in the north-east.

    INDIAS ALARMING HUNGER INDEX
Twelve Indian states have "alarming" levels of hunger while the situation is "extremely alarming" in the state of Madhya Pradesh, says a new report.
Madhya Pradesh's nutrition problems, it says, are comparable to the African countries of Ethiopia and Chad.
India has more people suffering hunger - a figure above 200 million - than any other country in the world, it says.
The report, released as part of the 2008 Global Hunger Index, ranks India at 66 out 88 countries.
    'Scored worse'
The hunger index has been released by the International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI) along with Welthungerhlife and the University of California.
It measures hunger on three indicators which include child malnutrition, rates of child mortality and the number of people who are calorie deficient.
The problem of hunger is measured in five categories - low, moderate, serious, alarming or extremely alarming.

The survey says that not one of the 17 states in India that were studied were in the low or moderate hunger category.

"Despite years of robust economic growth, India scored worse than nearly 25 sub-Saharan African countries and all of South Asia, except Bangladesh," the report says.

The best performing state was Punjab, which has a 'serious' hunger problem and does less well than developing countries such as Gabon, Vietnam and Honduras.

About 60% children in Madhya Pradesh state are malnourished

"When Indian states are compared to countries in the Global Hunger Index, [the central Indian state of] Madhya Pradesh ranks between Ethiopia and Chad," it says.

India is long known to have some of the highest rates of child malnutrition and mortality in under-fives in the world.

According to the Indian government statistics two years ago, around 60% of more than 10 million children in the state were malnourished.

Nutrition experts say the abysmal record is due to an inadequate access to food, poor feeding practices and poor childcare practices in India.
And now the rise in the global food prices has reduced the food-buying capacity of many poor families, making their situation worse.
In the past year food prices have increased significantly, but people's incomes haven't kept pace, forcing many families further into hunger, experts say.
The report says "improving child nutrition is of utmost urgency in most Indian states".
"All states also need to improve strategies to facilitate inclusive economic growth, ensure food sufficiency and reduce child mortality," it adds.

Founded by the King Pravarasena II over 2,000 years ago, Srinagar owes its name to two Sanskrit words, Sri (meaning profusion and wealth) and Nagar, (meaning a city). Dating back to the 3rd century BC, the city was formerly a part of the Mauryan Empire, which once happened to be one of the most important empires of India. This region prospered quite well under the rule of the Kushans in the 1st century AD. During this period, it used to be an important Buddhist pilgrimage site. In the 6th century, however, it became a part of the kingdom of Vikramaditya, the ruler of Ujjain. Local Hindu rulers ruled it until the 14th century, when Muslims rulers invaded and captured it. With the downfall of the Mughal Empire the fortunes of the area swung dramatically. In 1814, it went to the Sikhs, when Ranjit Singh got the better of the Pathans. However, ultimately the British defeated Ranjit Singh and in accordance with the treaty of Lahore in 1846, they appointed Gulab Singh as the autonomous ruler of Kashmir. Later, Hari Singh, the great grandson of Gulab Singh, united this huge state into India in 1948, when the Pathan intruders from Pakistan tried to capture this state.

Ahmadinejad's days in charge may also be numbered. The populist leader campaigned on reforming the oil industry; yet, during his tenure, two central-bank governors have resigned, the last one publicly accusing him of plundering the country's sovereign fund. In January, Iran's Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei ordered 20 percent of future petroleum revenues to be banked in a new fund, which some read to mean that he was putting it out of Ahmadinejad's reach. It's not a bad idea given the president's record of economic mismanagement: his energy subsidies, designed to boost popular support, have grotesquely distorted Iran's internal petroleum markets, helping turn the country into a net gas importer. Inflation is running at 26 percent thanks to the president's ill-conceived interest-rate policies, and tens of billions of dollars of handouts to businesses that were supposed to create new jobs have been largely wasted. Even Ahmadinejad's grandstanding moves to switch oil wealth into euros now seems silly, with the dollar lately rising against the euro. Recent human-rights crackdowns by the president might have been ignored when oil revenues were expected to exceed $100 billion this year. Now that lower prices have put estimates closer to $30 billion, the reform faction, led by Khatami, has a decent shot at winning the election.
