Don’t Ask Too Fast

It is all so so simplle. The answer is NO gays in the military. This nation was founded on God's Word and we even had laws on our books against such behavior. Look at what the gay comunity is doing outside the military to this nation and you wonder why there are many against this.
As for (this goverment) being built by (hard working) "gay" and straight, well, maybe the goverment today but not at its inception. Need to stop changing the truth of history past and face it for what it was and just this nation. Take a look at other major powers of the past and see what their destruction came from.
As for everbody sins, you are right. But that does excuss the blasphemous spitting in God's face and Word!!!
SO, LET CONSERVITVE MILITARY LOCK AND LOAD AND STAND THEIR GROUND. This nation is not Sodom, Gomorrah, anceint Greece, or Rome. But the gay agenda sure are taking us there!

The military should be an equal opportunity employer to all regardless of race, color, creed, national origin, ancestry, sex, marital status, disability, religious or political affiliation, age or sexual orientation. This is just the way it should be.

Ive been in the Marine Corps for 6 and a half years and DO NOT agree with having gays in the military. When were on the ship or land based overseas we live in very close quarters and have to shower wth each other at times. I resfuse to shower with someone who is openly gay and i assure you that a majority of the military will agree. So will they have to make quaters for straght men, straght women, gay men and gay women? This will cause more problems then there already are. We should have a vote and see how it turnsout. Liberals will probably try to overturn it though just like theyre doing with prop 8.

I would like to see just how many homosexuals are serving in the US military right now. I bet that it would be a higher percentage than the heterosexual world thinks. Homosexuals are already serving in the US military, isn't it time to quit having to walk on egg shells wondering if I accidently say this I will be discharged. Heterosexuals sit and talk about their husbands, wives, girlfriends, boyfriends and guess what so does the homosexuals, its just we say boyfriend when really she is our girlfriend. It is time for the military to change with the times. Who knows maybe the enlistment percentage would go up if the rule was changed. And please heterosexual world don't flatter yourself. All homosexuals are not after the heterosexual. Sure their are a few but those can be weeded out just like the degenerates of the heterosexuals.

Nothing of these is new. The period called "Classic" in Greece is full of examples, like the Theban's "sacred brigades" or the famous Spartans. All that period is deeply linked with the end of the Greek civilization and the raise of Rome where homosexuality was rare before the imperial period. Also you can observe the same pattern of collapse in Rome since the homosexual behavior of Julius Caesar to Marcus Aurelius, the megalomaniac obsessions, twisted loyalties,The end of the republic, and a permanent war inside and outside the Empire the pay the "New lifestyle". Like the Marquis of Sade said: " the closest think I know to ingenuity is perversity".

I don't think we give the military enough credit. Although the armed forces may be an insular society with its own code and mores, it still has the ability to change. If there is anything that those in the military are good at, it is to accept the edicts of their superior officers. If their Commander-in-Chief says that their fellow soldiers who happen to be gay or lesbian should be allowed to serve openly, then I think the good soldier will accept it. There are of course going to be some that will not like the change, but those that remain realize, quite rightly, that it doesn't matter at all if the person who has your back out in the field is gay or straight.

As a former military medic I dont see the problem with openly gay military members serving. I think it whould solove one of the militarys biggest problems in the recent years: recruting I am sure if the military lets more openly gay people serve they whouldnt have a problem meeting their goals of getting people. Also to all of the people who feel uncomfortable with gays in the military I am thinking that you might not know if you are stright or gay yet. Because I had no problem with it then and have no problems with gays serving now you know why because I knew I was stright. I am also sure that most of the openly gay people who whould join whould know that most of the people are stright so it whould be as big of a problem as people say.

bigdadee, most dorms are co-ed. at least in the Navy. Don't know about others.

well i personally think that it is up to the military, as it is them that are fighting the wars and they have been around longer and know more about wars then the homosexual civil rights movement. so whatever they say, i will follow.

Lets face it, the only reason the makority of people don't want gays in the military is fear. They are afraid a gay soilder might make a pass at them and that others might think they are gay if they don't beat the crap out of him. I served four years in the US Navy and saw all sorts of things and had passes made at me by both sexes. If you aren't mature enough to say, "Thanks, but my preferences go in another direction, " you have no business being considered an adult an therefor should not be in the military.

You're wrong about the marriage issue.
The marriage issue isn't about allowing homosexuals to have a union equal to marriage. The issue is about letting homosexuals label that union as marriage.

I say we resolve this by coming up with a new word for homosexual marriage. Yarriage for two women, and Harriage for two men.

Then homosexuals have their own secular yet spiritual term for their union, and marriage remains between a man and a woman.

I agree with the ARMY changing their "Don't ask, don't tell policy" because with this policy you are asking Soldiers of the United States ARMY to lie instead of encouraging them to speak the true in their contract. How can you trust a Soldier who you know that he is guy and lie in his contract because he wants to serve in the United States ARMY, but it???s not the Soldiers fault, because our superiors made this policy to protect gay Soldiers.

I am not against gay Soldiers in the military, they should accept them how they are and don???t force them to lie if they want to protect our country. I respect any Citizen how wants to go to Iraq and protect the United States of America and everybody should too. On the other hand, we will have to make a lot of changes and renovations as far as showering arrangements, they should have their own shower ???WHY???? because if you don???t allow female and male Soldiers to shower together???guess what I am 100% sure that a male Soldier doesn???t want to shower with a gay guy like I don???t want to shower with a gay female or a male Soldier.

The acceptance of gay Soldiers is not an issue if they stop hiding the problem with the "Don't ask, don't tell policy". Admiral Mike Mullen will have to compromised and spend a lot of money to accommodate this change. We have more issues in the military that they should be address.
