    But yet a person can be convicted of murder or rape based on a pinpoint bit of saliva left on a leaf that blew down the street. We are so used to being lied to that we don't seem to even care anymore. If they could identify the hijackers then they need to separate their remains from the others and let the victems familys take turns urinating on them. Then send them home to their own familys with an atomic bomb attached.

    If I got paid with tax dollars and then didn't pay taxes myself, since it is "impossible", then the IRS owes me a lot of back taxes. Since you seem to be against the military, or maybe not so much against the military how they are paid, I will just indicate that I would love for you to have followed in my footsteps these past years. The military member earns every penny and in most cases, the hourly wage, and yes a group of us figured it out, amounts to just about $9.00 an hour. Try paying a non-military member that much when they are on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Newsflash..the military doesn't get paid overtime. Military members work, they don't just sit back and collect pay.

      I see you still are avoiding the issue. I don't care how hard you think you worked, you still have gotten paid with stolen money. I don't recall the military doing bake sales and getting donations.

      If a thief steals money and then gives some to his boss, did he really pay taxes?

            No one is forcing you to pay taxes. You have the ability to go out and work under the table and not pay taxes. However, then you're just like any of pos that doesn't pay taxes to keep certain things functioning in America, roads, police, ect. And from the way you've rambled on, I assume your one of them?

            The "Mafia" has nothing to do with this conversation nor does it compare to the government. So, making the comparison continues to make you look like a fool.

              That's funny, I'm the pos since I don't believe in theft. Guess what happens when you don't pay taxes? It starts with fines, then kidnapping, then imprisonment, or even death if you resist. That sure the hell is not voluntary. They have to collect taxes through force or threat of force just like you average criminal. We damn sure don't need a government to have roads and police force, which is more criminal than any.

              The mafia has everything to do with it. If you don't pay up, they sends thugs to collect, just like the gov goons.

                    I never indicated I was a "statists". Just because I'm aware of how taxes are taken out of my check both civilian and military, doesn't mean I support it. Nor will I complain about it. If rambling about it and calling them thieves does something for you. By all means, I wont stop you from rambling about it on newsweek.

                        I've never stated I supported it. I've stated how it works, what it's for, ect.

    I disagree M.F.B.. 100% of American soldiers did have a choice, thanks to an all-volunteer military. We've been in Iraq long enough that most of them knew they were going to be sent over there when they signed on or reenlisted. If a person is willing to fight in an illegal war for college money that makes them an opportunist, or perhaps a mercenary, but it sure as heck doesn't make them a hero.

    The comments here are polarized: those of us who know the awful truth, and another group, much angrier, seemingly younger and less well educated: those who are enraged that anyone would even suggest that the government lied to us about 9/11.

    Who are these people who are apparently oblivious to the hundreds of well documented lies from the Bush administration?

    Here's a clue: a company that advertises blog armies to "flood the zone with comments from professionals who are ready to put your talking points on the blogosphere 24/7."

    This story is pure propaganda. It is a devious attempt to subtly reinforce the official lie about 911 while being disguised as a "feel good" "puff piece". They retrieved the DNA from the "terrist" hideouts? What a total crock of s--t! Newsweek is helping to sell the official meme once again. Please engage your minds and realize how preposterous this story is on its face. 911 was an inside job perpetrated by factions of the US government. The Project For A New American Century stated a year earlier that they needed a "New Pearl Harbor" to be allowed to enact their imperialistic policies in the middle east. Go to youtube and enter into the search box WTC 7. Watch any of the videos of that 47 story building's controlled demolition. It comes down symmetrically in less than 7 seconds, folding into its own basement. This building came down on the same day as the twin towers. It was not hit by any plane. It had only a few small fires on a few floors. Stop buying the BS! Wake up to fact that 911 was an inside job! Newsweek is a tool for printing this propaganda.

    I applaud Robert Shaler and all the others efforts, truly the American way. I agree with the feeling of John Carter but also can see the point of Diane Horning. So I believe the terrorist remains should be returned in the same manner as to which the terrorist returned Americans, dropped from an aircraft on fire. We can let them know seconds before the event.

    Send them back to their families and have them do what they want with them. It intrigues me to see how ignorant some people are, its one thing to be patriotic, thats one thing, not for everyone, but to feel as though America and its citizens are gods gift to the world is another thing. If anyone knows its history we would understand that America is one of the oldest terrorist organizations in the world, way before Al Qaida and Hamas. Tell me one thing: Was it cowardice to kill innocent Native American women and children? Was it cowardice to bomb Hiroshima and Nagasaki, two cities filled with citizens? The Japanese army was brave enough to attack a military post, America bombs citizens by the millions!!! I dont agree with terrorism in the name of god or allah, but to see it happen to America has been coming for a long time in my opinion, Im sure you can thank your presidents and politicians for the beautiful job they have been doing overseas!

      I agree that the massacre of the native Americans as well as slavery were horrible wrongs. The bombing in Japan ended the war didn't it? That's exactly what the world needed. You don't achieve that with a bed-in for peace. We also have learned from our tragic mistakes, as the two aforementioned acts occurred a long time ago. Look across the ocean at our terrorist brothers. They still throw rocks, shoes and burn dolls like cavemen(well cavemen with shoes and dolls). If you don't like the U.S., it would be terrific if you never came here, or are you already here and don't have the backbone to go somewhere "nicer"?

Yes we nuked Japan.....and ended the Pacific theater saving thousands of American lives. You don't seem to understand, if you attack the U.S. we respond with terrible efficiency...that's what other countries risk. We will retaliate!!! If you provoke us you pay a terrible price. That is the nature of war. As for America being or practicing it's own brand of terrorism, slavery and discrimination..yes we all know it's true.

          We have however, moved on and grown as a society...many middle-eastern nations have not. So, remember when you want to claim the children and civilian losses as the result of an American attack. Then don't attack America. If you don't want civilian casulties, don't put your munitions in a residential neighborhood, don't hide your bombs in Mosque, and don't hide your soldiers in schools. THIS is the reason civilians are killed. If you want to make bullets in a bakery, don't expect any bread if we find out.

Studying American history gives you no more truth than reading the back of a cereal box. There is only one place to find the truth.     People advocating harm to these remains are the same people who think we should torture prisoners at GitMo. We are all human beings, and children of God, if you believe in religion. If no family or country will take the remains, they should stay secure in the pentagon or another military area. To place their remains in a public burial place would be an invitation for theft or vandalism. Hasn't anyone hear every been told that the dead deserve to be left in peace? I know these men caused a great deal of harm. One of my best friends lost her father in the WTC. But that doesn't change the fact that they are human. Their deeds while living have nothing to do with this.

        Forgiveness is the gift you give yourself. You should hit back twice as hard? Not always. Sometimes taking the high road is definitely best. Why do you think these terrorist groups felt the need to do these horrible acts in the first place? Not because they love us and think we're awesome. It's mush easier to be petty. Being strong, anf forgiving or letting go and being decent are often difficult. But the right thing isn't always easy.

        What about all the "Muslims" that eat baked potatos in resturants...did you know they take pork fat/grease and put it all over the potatoe before baking it? It gives it a delicious flavor! Also fried items and yes Some Friench Fries are also made with umm, yes, bacon grease. Ask some of the Nicer resturants...not the fast food places.....I know this by working in the resturant buisnes field for many years....The funny part of all this, MOST of the Muslim/Islamic people that frequented the resturants (1000s of people!) didn't even know that they were eating it! But, they never bothered to ask either...they were so worried about the "meat" part of the "unclean pig" nobody thought to ask what was put on the food, or how is it prepared....And I got news for you people, don't look at your waitress or chef wrong, or give them attitude, or your food will be the first to have something (like a pc of bacon) laid accross your food and taken off just before serving it to you! And I am surely not saying this is "right" but it does happen! God Bless America!!

      I don't think we should torture the prisoners at Gitmo, but giving the pigs who hijacked the planes a Christian, Muslim, or even human burial galls. So sure - return the remains to the families - just be sure to cremate those remains with pig remains FIRST. Mail them to the families in a box with a plain brown wrapper. Inside that box, make sure there is a fifth of whiskey and a Playboy magazine.

    to labdaddy contd..However, citizens of Islamic state have the right to their sovereignty, the right to defend themselves against US military forces. Don???t you agree? The war on Iraq and Afghanistan is wrong. Muslims cannot hand over their countries in a platter, to America or anyone else.
