I do not think that we should spend time discussing where to dispose of the hijackers. Their actions were horrific and they do not deserve our attention. There should not be an article in Newsweek about this subject and that article should not be posted on the web. They do not deserve the attention. Thank you.
As for zinka's comment. Yes, the hijackers were human beings, because of the fact they had the biological make up of human beings. Besides that, there is nothing "humane" about them and we should not treat them that way. They certainly did not treat us that way.

They need to be buried in a common burial without the world knowing were they are. Just like the ex-president of Peru did with those terrorist that took the Japonese Consul in Peru.
Also give them a christian burial with no name on their headstone. Because if we send them back to their native countries do you know what's going to happened. They are going to be received as hero's and all those muslims around the world will be laughing at the U.S.A. and all those countries who lost their love ones too.
And who started those rumors about a cover up, the a French writer and the muslims. He (the Frenchman) also wrote a book about it.
I also hope that our new government don't be soft on this matter.

Leave the remains where they are. Even the er... creative solutions proposed by other members thus far gives them too much credit. It implies they're worth special attention, and they aren't.

Their goal was to enter heaven - our response should be to deny them success at their goal. Wrap the remains in a pig skin and bury them in an undisclosed location. According to their religion, this will forever deny them entry into heaven. This is how the remains of all Moslem terrorists should be treated. By telling them they will not get into heaven, perhaps they will be deterred from committing their acts of murder.

When are people going to wake up? This reminds me of when someone sues because their father was in the wrong grave, or when someone is charged with "abuse of a corpse". Let me enlighten you Sparky. Upon death, your finger, your father's finger, a terrorist's finger, now becomes little more than a chicken wing. The actual people are GONE. Respecting, or disrespecting, remains is a giant waste of time. Graveyards are a waste of good land. It wouldn't matter if you fed your father's body to the tigers at the zoo, he ain't using it no more. You may as well have an expensive ceremony for the car he drove. Can we never advance beyond the primitive tribal notion that a body is somehow "that person", thereby deserving of some ceremonial honor or dishonr?

I am reminded of the bru ha ha that occured when Dylan Klebold and Eric Harris were given memorial crossses behind Columbine. There are some striking similarities between them and the 9/11 terrorists. In both cases, mentally and morally ill young males who turned to violence as a means of 'avenging' what they percevied as persecutions, be it of an entire country or popular kids. I don't know in the end how to feel. I instantly want to hate, but, these monsters were, sadly, human monsters with families. No one would have suggested we cremate Eric and Dylan and place them in a toilet to defecate upon, no matter how much we rage against them. Ithink we should be open to the idea that some of these hijackers families are probably devistated, ashamed and live in endless sorrow and agony for what their children have done.

There is a bit of difference from parents who had moronic kids doing that evil deed compared to families that could raise up the adults that were the 9/11 highjackers. The passive attitude the muslim community in these other countries (and in the USA for that matter) have had to these acts.....well, I can't see that those terrorists' families are sad. Proud maybe, definitely not sad.

Bury them all in a mass grave, sprinkle pig blood generously over them, cover all of them with a layer of pig intestines.
