To say the deaths of the terrorists were in vain would be assigning them and their actions value. They deserved no respect for what they did and should receive no consideration for it.
I think they should be flushed down the toilet.

Hate and revenge are impossible to bear. Hate eats at you from within - you go to bed angry and hurt and you wake up feeling the same. There are times that you want to tear out your own heart because you just can't get rid of those feelings. The pain of losing someone that you love by murder is indescribable. But, revenge will never be enough because you can only kill someone once. I pray that the families, friends and co-workers of those killed on 9/11 will someday feel some sort of peace. I pray that they will get beyond their anger and hurt and remember their loved ones with good memories - remember how they lived - not how they died. I know this is easy for me to say because I was not directly affected by the tragedy. But, I know about hate and anger and the desire for revenge. You have to find some way to let it go or it will destroy you. That is not the legacy that those killed should have. Rejoice in their lives and thank God for the time that was shared.

Bury the terrorists' remains in a common grave - unmarked and in a secret place - otherwise you will have people continuously desecrating their grave. Allow a Muslim religious figure to offer prayers for their souls and allow God to be the judge. For those that have to make these decisions, I sympathize. They're in a no win situation.

I think they should be flushed down a toilet. That's where they belong. There's no honor in what they did and they deserve no recognition or respect.

And the 3rd grader comments do not instil confidence that we have grown as a nation at all or learned anything from 9/11, don't make those deaths be in vain please

  • Posted By: twilkes @ 01/06/2009 10:16:16 PM

How about a public urinal stone, made from there ashes and concrete, in a tribute bathroom to these scum, and place it at ground zero!!!!~

  • Posted By: twilkes @ 01/06/2009 10:13:39 PM

How about a public urinal stone........time square?

  • Posted By: eguaschino @ 01/06/2009 10:12:34 PM

Well, first off I would like to state that I lost 2 cousins in 9/11 and I am sick and tired of idiot reporters that can't write a decent story playing the 9/11 card to get their lame ass articles read. That being said, whatever is done with the remains should be the same thing that is done to the remains of any killed Isreali soldiers that are murdering innocents every day. We had one day of terror, Isreal commits a new terror act every single day.. when will we stop backing them up while they bully the rest of the middle east? Isreal really took one right out of the Bush Book of War this time.

CONCRETE! Imagine a sidewalk if New York City with millions of American's shoe's walking on the remains of their "heroes". The gift that keeps on insulting!

You really can't blame someone for dying for what they believed in. Yes it may have been horribly wrong, and I am in no way excusing what they did, but for those Christians, if you were asked to die for your God, wouldn't you? Aren't they, essentially, doing the same thing? The ultimate sacrifice in order to secure their place in paradise? That's what they believed in, so that's what they felt they had to do. Like I said, totally wrong, what they did and what not, but they died fighting for what they believed in. I wouldn't be so quick to judge.

    • Posted By: winkiesixtysix @ 01/06/2009 9:57:25 PM

What? Are you kidding me.."can't blame them for dying for a god". They did not die for a god.........they killed thousands and thousands for what they claim was for Allah. Pick up the Karan...it does not condone killing of innocent people. You are a moron.

    • Posted By: celtan @ 01/06/2009 7:51:42 PM

No! No way! No true christian would die "for a god". A true God doesn't need to create Life in order for it to die for him/her! In fact, in killing you actually destroy God's creation. Geez!

Hatred begets hatred. We seem to forget that there are many American terrorists who terrorize our cities and communities everyday. What these men done was terribly wrong but God is the only one able to judge them. We were born in America and many of us suffered great loss on 9/11. We are all related to everyone who died on that day. Don't let hatred cloud your thoughts to anything else. Judge not that ye be not judged. Matthew 7:1

oh and they do judge us; quite a bit of the world judges us every single day. People always have some previous judgments about certain groups and for religions this can be especially true.

      • Posted By: Kyon @ 01/06/2009 8:36:54 PM

umm thats not true, Christians have killed and died for their beliefs. Christians died at the hands of the Romans as martyrs because they refused to switch beliefs before the Roman empire became Christian. Christians have also killed during such things as the crusades and the Spanish Inquisition.

The idea of mixing pig fat with the remains is a good one, and then throwing them into a septic tank is even better. Latina Brava.

I mean a prison cemetary...trying to do too many things at once

  • Posted By: joywest @ 01/06/2009 9:48:17 PM

I also believe that God judges all souls. I think that if no one comes forward to claim the hijackers' remains, that they shoulkd be buried in unmarked graves in a person cemetary.

I can't think of anything bad enough to do to such evil humans. One thought is to let all of the people that were affected first hand by what happened that day to urinate and defecate on the remains and then fly the remains back to where they came from along with an Atomic Bomb for each one of them!

These relatives that want the remains of these horrific people who commited this horrific crime not only against America but against every country that lost someone? Instead they should be sent a bill for equal share of the damages inflicted upon America and all the victims and their families. Split that debt amongst the relatives of the 19 hijackers that is what should be done. Islamic law they claim, tough luck they commited a crime on American soil and what is done with a criminals remains should be up to the vicitms and not Islamic law since this is not a nation that lives by Islamic law. If they want the remains let them pay for them.

  • Posted By: cat2112 @ 01/06/2009 9:45:31 PM

I think the remains should be made into urinal cakes and laid to rest in men's rooms around New York City.

  • Posted By: latina brava @ 01/06/2009 9:43:30 PM

I like the idea of mixing the remains with pig fat, and trowing them into a septic tank. They will fit just right with the contents of the tank, Latina brava

911Truth and Beguiled...you two need to head off to get some education and maybe some common sense. There is no way 9-11 could have been planned in what, 6 months? Had Clinton or even the now president-elect been in office, it would have been blamed on them. 911 was NOT an inside job no matter how many nutcases say otherwise. You probably also believe that Hurricane Katrina was planned and caused by the government, that the levees were blown to bits under Pres Bush's orders and that the market is being directly controlled by the government in order to subjugate the US population.

As for the remains, I still say send them back to their own country and get them OFF US soil. They don't deserve the consecrated, or even unconsecrated, ground where they would lie in the US.

    • Posted By: Kyon @ 01/06/2009 9:42:21 PM

they didn't blow it but the engineers did send in reports a while before, though probably not on a federal level, that the levees wouldn't stand up to that level of storm
