Don’t Muffle the Call to Serve

We really need the infrastructure and construction jobs so we can put the millions of Illegal Aliens back to work, so they can send money home to support Mexico! The contractors can charge the tax payers union scale, hire Illegals at slave wages, pocket the profits, and hit the tax payers for both their wages and the billions in cost to educate their spawn, provide medical and welfare.

Sounds like the same old scam, reward the invading horde and soak the tax payers! You would think the Politicians would be content with just outsourcing all the jobs that are possible but No they want to bring in Slave labor ( while ignoring Article IV Section IV of our Constitution against invasion, the rule of Law, and their Oath of office) to take the jobs that cannot be outsourced! To add insult to injury they make the American citizens still working pay billions in extra taxes to educate, provide medical, welfare and jail cells for the invading horde that are taking our jobs and driving down our standard of living! While keeping busy Robbing, Raping and Killing American citizens at an rate that Ben Laden can only dream about!

But the Republicans love the slave labor for their Pay Masters in the Chamber of Commerce and business. The Democrats love the millions of Welfare votes. So there is little or no hope for American citizens and the future viability of this nation as we know it.

The future is an over populated, Spanish speaking third world Nation that is an Cesspool of Corruption, Crime, Poverty and Misery modeled on Mexico!

15 years of "Scandal-free". Not so much. In Huntsville Alabama the AmeriCorps participants are used as free campaign labor for the local Democratic house members. AmeriCorps members are the ones going around putting democratic campaign signs at intersections. For some reason putting up Republican signs doesn't count for the program though.

The federal, state and city governments of this country can't get their current employees to work at a job. How are they going to get these" idealistic public servants" to be productive and not goof off all day.

from the very start, beginning in our state's primary, those of us who volunteered were told, this is more than just getting then sen. obama elected. it was and still is the beginning of building a community of volunteers to see and give service to the larger community. as a mom who has a son who served in the AmeriCorp, to the young people who worked as national campaign field organizers to we white and gray haired volunteers who canvassed week after week, it is a beginning.

Those young,idealistic public servants will love working for 20k per year!!!

Uh, where the money coming from?

I think this would be a good thing. For those religious conservatives, it should appeal to the very Scriptural notion of "we are our brother's/sister's keeper" (Biblical references: Cain & Able in the Old Testament; the Good Samaritan in the New Testament, just to name the two most obvious). For those longing for a sense of belonging or community, this would nurture, feed, and satisfy that longing (from the psychological Point of View). For communities, large and small, everybody would benefit.
