A question like are the writers of this article complete idiots I guess would be a stupid question - since they are not only idiots they are everything that defines ingnorance!
How dare you write an article as to what Israel should be doing in order to make peace, and further yet, write that the Palestinians are the culprits suffering "a historic injustice"?
If I come and kill your mother for no good reason - would you not like to see justice done to me, of course you would and dont kid yourself by saying no. The Hamas (Palestinians) have caused their own giref, they asked for this. They dont want peace, they are terrorists and thats it. There is no compromising with terrorists but to wipe them all out and destoy their beliefs, which are no Jewish state and to get rid of the western sociaty, which btw, includes you (even when you suck up to them and take their sides - idiot!). Furthermore, you actually believe that Obama is gonna help here, he has absolutely no experience in this field, so no he wont do anything because he cant. Just leave it up to the Israelis, they know what they are doing and your foolish comments and suggestions should never even be put on paper or expressed, since you are too ignorant and foolish to have a say in the matter.

I dont care if I sound naive when I say I don't care where they are from, which God they believe in, or what is their reason to bomb each other. I just wish humanity was evolved enough to get along without recurring to violence to solve its problems. Is heart breaking that all people are doing here in this forum is taking sides. I havent even seen one person here just wishing and hoping for peace, just more anger and judgement and hatred.

Israel will never allow a sovereign Palestinian state. That much should be clear from the history so far. David Ben Gurion and other founders of Israel wanted the whole of Palestine, not to be shared with non-jews. They will always find excuses. Today they can't talk with Hamas. Yesterday they did not want to talk with PLO. Tomorrow it will be some other pretext. The real obstacle to peace is Israel's unwillingness to share the land. Why is a single state with equal rights for all citizens not an option? Because of a racial superiority complex? How would it sound if we said only whites had the right to live in the USA? How would it sound if someone suggested that blacks or hispanics should be expelled from the USA? I know that would be considered preposterous. Why is it acceptable for Israel to say so?

ALWAYS SPREADING INNOCENT BLOOD ,,,WHY ? ,,,,MAY BE WR HAVE FORGOTTEN GOD AND HIS PUNISHMENT OR MAY BE GOD DOES NOT EXIST FOR ALL THESE KILLERS .

Paying $ 6.8 million per day from our tax money to Israel does not help to bring peace. Does it??

There's an old saying,"Fool me once,shame on you. Fool me twice shame on me." I know the difference between ignorance and stupidity. Ignorance can be educated. I don't think the Palestinians or Hamas know the difference... probably too much inbreeding or just plain breeding. They are cowards, hiding behind their women and children and doing nothing to better themselves and blaming everyone but themselves for their plight. No other Arab country wants the Palestinians now. I wonder why. Isreal's stupidity is in not driving them into the sea.

Sixty years of fighting have left the radical elements on both side so full of hatred that they can only be satisfied with the total destruction of the other; a policy that can only lead to the destruction of both sides. Israel is just barely able to rein in its hard-liners enough to negotiate, and with Hamas in charge of Gaza, theirs have no one to rein them in, at all. It will require some real force of will to force them to quit shooting, much less to keep the peace. I have to wonder if anyone can pull that off; certainly not the UN, judging by their record, of late.

In any conflict, peace is always possible. There was peace between the U.S. and Japan, albeit only after bombing them into total submission. The Middle East is little different in that these people have been killing each other for centuries and they are good at it. The trouble with the "contestants" is they do not read far enough back in history - they only read back to where history suits their argument. History has never really been much of a precedent when drawing lines in the sand anyway. Sooner or later, they will have to have either a lasting peace or total destruction (of one side or the other). We Americans need to look at the greater good of our relationship with the Arab nations and Israel. Peace is to our benefit outside of the obvious need for the oil under the desert. Democracy, an easy concept for us, is not easy in a culture where various forms of theocracy, autocracy or dictatorship has been the norm for centuries. What if it were just up to the people of this region and not the ambitious politicians or monarchies. The poor people of Vietnam only wanted to raise thier children in peace, harvest their rice, and live without any undue intrusion in their daily life. Sounds pretty basic, but it was only accomplished after considerable loss of life and only under the Communist rule. Life is good - so is peace.

What is the point of debating when the world's media, politicians, industrialists and financial elite is in the pockets of the Jews and Christian Zionists in the first place?... Lol

Today's events are the result of a long and careful planning of Zionist's who believe the Jew's to be the chosen poeple of God... Why is no other Arab country supporting the Palestinians?Why did they all throw the Palestinians out of their own countries? Simply, because they are a bunch of death culture, violence loving thugs. Gaza needs to become its own state, with no electricity, power etc... from Israel and then told to behave themselves.....Israel existed long before Islam came to rise in 600 CE and Cannanites, (who later became the Jews lived there)...Regardless of history, the Muslim extremists continue to stonewomen, homicide bomb their own people, have legalized crucifiction as of this Christmas, kill cartoonists for innocuous drawings of Mohammad, race riot in every country they live in burning cars etc....., are responsible for Darfur, tribal wars in Africa, the twin towers etc.....When do you ever hear about the Jews doing this? Even after the recent Mumbai massacre, the Jews responded in peace. Be sure that you all do more reading and research the truths for yourself because if Israel does not crush these thugs,it will be Canadian buses and cafes that will be targeted next......Islam is against everyone and everything that is western, democratic,liberal, free and egalitarian.
