Ballots, Bullets And Suicide Bombers

Let Israel wipe Hamas off the face of the earth. Then maybe the Islamic extremist will get the idea that the rest of the world is tired of their terrorism and whining. Hamas and the rest might learn a valuable lesson that if you push a peaceful people too far then they just might come down to your level and fight back and not allow you to hide behind innocents. The Islamic extremist are not Freedom Fighters, they should never be compared to Masada, Thermopylae, the Alamo, the Light Brigade and the Little Bighorn. The people in these battles were soldiers they fought and died honorably. Davey Crockett did not walk in to a crowd of unarmed people and blew himself up. Custer did not fight the little the battle of the little big horn from behind a group of school children. At Thermopylae there were 2 clearly defined combatants neither side used women to detonate bombs or fired weapons and ran in to churches to hide. There is a lot of difference between a soldier and a terrorist, the sad part is people like you can???t tell the difference.
Unfortunately this is the true mind set of Islamic extremists "The way these people fight a war, they don't believe in defeat," one prominent moderate Arab politician said privately, and with considerable chagrin. "As long as there is one person from Hamas left alive in Gaza, they will claim a victory." So this being the truth the only viable answer for peace is to leave no extremist left alive. To bring peace we must eliminate those spread death and terror we must go to their level, the world must hunt them down and stop them by any means necessary. We must not give the terrorist any safe havens. No building should offer any protection not schools or hospitals or mosque or church. No border should be allowed to harbor or aide these murderers, these animals that seek to destroy our civilization. The same civilizations that they seek to destroy they hide behind our rules and laws but respect neither.
It is not time for peace because the terrorist uses peace and cease fires as a time to rebuild and regroup and plot again their plans for war and terror. The old saying goes ???There is no rest for the wicked.??? now is not the time to give these wicked people any rest. It is time to take the fight to them and destroy this very dangerous group once and for all.

Peaceful democracy in the middle east can not be between any two parties in which one is hostile. So, unless totally defeated and given no means to resist by force, any millitia will look for means of war to gain confidence and advantage. As such, be it Persian or Arabian, these are not willing to sit back and allow Israel to have peace. Though i find Iranian intelligence to be more understanding, the Arabs have a fierce level of intolerrance and arrogance in their believe and understanding. As had been the case with Iranian conquest once upon a time, Arab conquest has also taken shape in this world, more recent in time than we may acknowledge. It has revived a sense of revival for the Persian conquest also. However, i believe once this force of Islamic radicallity is defeated, there will be a chance for peace in any part of earth's center.

Many times a wae does not have a nane. People have fought for years, not understanding the proper way to settle dissagreements. When you live in a 3rd world country, the environment is unknown to America, unless people have come from that area. When you want to make a change and no one listens to you, you tend to take matters in your own hands. Everything escalates into a war where anything that can be used as a weatpon will be used. You just want to get your message acrrose and try to make the changes. A Muslim, Christian or Jew is no different than me. We all are made of the same molecular substance and DNA. The brain is what needs trained and not by the hearet. Until the armies stop fighting for a cause, there will always be deaths and childrend kkilled. Who can say who is right and who is wrong. Isreal is claiming she is defending herself. Try to think of it as a footbal game. There can only be one winner. Hamas claimes the same and defending herself. Now make the call of who should stop and give up. Until both sides sit down to talk, there will be more people killed and that's war.

All I have to say is I read the end of the book and I know how it turns out in the end. No one in this world can bring this conflict to an end. Only one can and will. Believe what you will, it is your FREEDOM to do so in this country. For all of you that are pro-terrorism, if you beleive so intently what you are saying, why are you here? You are free to go and help your brothers kill, maim and destroy in the name of your God. You are also free to stop the hate and love you fellow man. The choice is yours and I pray that you choose the latter.

I believe that the life of a human being is sacred. Christians, Jews, Muslims, Atheists, Budhists.......All have the right to live in dignity and in peace.

What does one expect from a group oppressed by an oppressor? Isn't it logical those who have been mistreated by a dominating force (Israel) would naturally fight back? Isn't it reasonable for Hamas, to strike out at the hand that beats them?

Let's try to keep in mind Gaza is not Palm Beach, nor is it Colorado Springs. The Palestinians live as refugees who are under the boot heel of their conqueror (Israel). We, in America, have no clue what it is like to live in the occupied territories of Gaza.

How do the Palestinians live in Gaza? Does anyone in America understand what it is like to sit in an IDF check point to go to work? Go to the hospital? No, certainly not. If we went through what a Palestinian has to go through in Gaza, we would erupt.

Why would people make homemade rockets, throw bottles at tanks (glass doesn't do well against armor) hurl rocks, and blow them selves up, and start a fight with a country that has enough firepower to start world war three? Religion? No, these people are desperate. They are desperate enough to attack a tank with a rock. They are desperate enough to strap TNT to themselves and blow themselves up. Religion? Hardly. They have no life. They are degraded and made to feel worthless. Why wouldn't they strike out at their oppressor?

In the early history of our nation, colonists fought against their King and former country of England. We consider them heroes. The Sicari ( Jewish Zealots) in the first century AD fought against the might and power of the Roman Empire, and we call these people heros. The Hamas fight against Israel who makes daily life in Gaza unbearable, and we call them terrorists. The British Empire called the colonists terrorists, as did the Roman Empire call the zealots in Masada terrorists. Today we call them heroes. No one should condone bloodshed, of any kind. Yet, we seem to be going backwards. We don???t seem to have learned anything from the early days of this country when we revolted against the British. When we moved westward and wiped out the Indians?

The only solution is to place the bully under the microscope. Why are these people so angry? Is it because of their religion? That excuse is getting old. How about some honest journalism? Let us examine how these people are living. How are they treated? Even a dog mistreated will bite. Can we blame the dog? Shouldn't we blame the owner?

Most of the commentators in this forum forget or just deny that the root of all the problems in the Mid-East in general and the arab-israeli problem in particular is the occupation. Israel for 60 years occupied and still occupying arab lands.
The policies of the current Bush administration are not helping, during the eight years this administration has spent in ruling the U.S. made things worst, by giving the green light to the israeli government and turning a blind eyes on all the crimes Israel has commited in West-Bank and Gaza.
All this administration has succeeded in is to radicalize more the arab street and it will make it harder for the next administration to deal all these problems inherited from the current administration.

I was in the West Bank in the mid 90's near Jericho with tourists. Young palistinian boy 9yrs old? filled with anger started throwing rocks at us. The Muslim youth are raised to hate. Obama can't fix it. He'll make it worse. Partial solution: Evangelize them: Fox news ran a special about a radical hamas leader who became a Christian after reading Jesus' words 'love your neighbor' with a Christian tourist. Final Solution: God wipes out a Muslim/Arab/Russian coalition army that attacks Israel fulfilling the Ezekiel 38, 39 Gog & Magog prophecy.. Then we'll have the Oprah & Deepak Chopra new age earth worshipping freaks to deal with.

President -elect Obama is continuing to cultivate his image of integrity by refraining from interfering with the Bush administration's handling of the current Gaza-Israeli crisis. He may also be grateful that the Israeli retaliation to 8 years of increasing escalation of indiscriminate rocket attacks at predominantly civilian targets by Hamas is taking place prior to his inaguration.

To be honest every Arab Govt. in the Middle east is responsible for Terrorist organizations. And for what reason?The Palestine's are pawns They don't care about the Palestinens. If they did they would help them build a future to get them back on there feet instead of sending them rockets why don't they build schools. They won't because then there real reason to lash out at Isreal would have no fuel. If your not a part of the solution then your part of the problem. The Arab world relishes this to continue in a violent way because when it ends they will not be able to justify there hatred to the Jews. The media wants to show them as victims of Israel when in fact they are victims of there own Arab brothers. Case in point has Hamas,Hezzbollah,the Iranian Govt. or any other organization in the Arab World every once kept peace with Israel with the exception of Egypt? The Answer is No and that is why the bloodshed continues because the bloodshed gives them a common cause.

Gee, can't we all get along together? I believe it states in the Bible, "they will cry for peace, peace but there shall be no peace". ..so let's make Iran, Syria and Lebanon a "Sea of Glass"! See, I had the answer all this time and all you had to do was ask!
